I finished University in 2008 and I was thinking it would be important to be able to speak English fluently to get a job and to learn about different cultures. After two months researching about the best way to learn to teach English, to make new friends, and spend time with foreigners, I chose to go to ITI. I also heard about ITI from my friends who had been there before and I was very happy that I made decision to choose ITI. I met lots of foreign people and I noticed that I improved my English and especially my ability to communicate with the other students. ITI has great teachers and student services resources that work hard to help you every day, each moment. Actually, I’m very happy to have chosen this school to improve my skills. Also, it is a nice place to spend time and study. ITI offers several opportunities to improve your knowledge, with extra activities on the weekdays after class or with workshops. So I went to ITI and I really had no clue what to expect but I had so much fun in class. After a month, I still had such energy and excitement running through me. I couldn’t stop thinking about it. All I can say is – GO NOW!

The tutors were from different parts of the world and the class just as diverse! I love Istanbul but if you’ve never been consider visiting first because the CELTA will occupy all your time (if doing a full-time course).

The only drawbacks were faulty technology (virus-infected computers and frequently jammed printers) and a sort of inconsistent tutor philosphy. Another is the location–Levent is an expensive neighborhood and the building is 10 mins’ walk from nearest transport options which are frequently in construction warfare.

You will be split into different teaching groups, and to be honest not everyone will have the positive experience I had, depending on who you get and how your group interacts. I was lucky!

But I can safely say that you get what you pay for at ITI, and if you at least TRY to regurgitate everything they teach you, you will pass no problem, and have fun doing it.
