Taking the 10-Hour Advanced Certificate in TEFL Classroom Methodologies was an incredibly valuable experience to me. The course provided me with deep insights into effective classroom control, lesson planning, and adapting to different student levels. From the very start to the very finish of the course, I felt supported always and engaged constantly, making it not only a great investment in my TEFL career, but also an amazing experience overall.

Whilst on the course, I learned how to confidently control a classroom, ensuring lessons run smoothly and effectively. One of the most important aspects for me personally was learning how to adjust teaching methods to suit various learners’ needs. In addition , beyond these key areas, the course also covered a range of essential teaching techniques that will be useful in any TEFL setting. I would say that a huge part of what made this course so rewarding was the outstanding guidance from Michelle Benson. She is an amazing tutor that is always available for support, making sure that no one ever felt awkward or stuck. Her teaching approach was encouraging and clear, and she always knew exactly what she was talking about / teaching us, thus making the learning experience both enjoyable and effective. I would absolutely highly recommend this course to anyone that is serious about starting a TEFL career. If you want a strong foundation in classroom methodologies, this course is an absolute must. Enroll right away and you won’t regret it!

I recently completed the 10-hour Advanced TEFL Classroom Methodologies Course, and I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it! I would highly recommend this course to anyone starting their TEFL journey. Throughout the course, I could feel my confidence growing, and the content was both engaging and thoughtfully structured.

The small group setting worked really well, ensuring that everyone had the opportunity to participate and be involved. Our tutor, Michelle Benson, was fantastic! Her many years of experience truly shone through in the way she engaged us in every aspect of the course. By the end, we were all teaching with confidence and enthusiasm, excited about our next steps in the TEFL world.

I recently completed the 10-hour virtual TEFL course with Michelle, and it was a fantastic experience! The small class size made it easy to engage, ask questions, and get personalized advice about future work and travel opportunities. Michelle was incredibly knowledgeable and provided great insights into lesson planning, teaching strategies, and career prospects.

The course was well-structured, with plenty of opportunities to practice lesson planning and presenting, which made the experience both educational and fun. One thing I’d recommend to future participants is to ensure your laptop, WiFi, and microphone are all working well—unfortunately, a couple of people had technical issues that affected their ability to fully participate.

Since the course runs over a weekend, be prepared for some homework, particularly for lesson planning. However, the schedule included enough breaks to stretch our legs, and there was dedicated time for feedback after each module. Overall, I’d highly recommend this course to anyone looking to start their TEFL journey!

I just completed the 10 hour Advanced Virtual TEFL Classroom Methodologies course and I was very happy I did. Not only did it boost my confidence, the instructor Michelle Benson delivered it well. She was very clear in her delivery methods. She gave good and constructive criticisms and I just felt all that I had done during my TEFL course come to life!

The materials used were gave the confidence needed to prepare for practice and everyone had opportunity to participate. It was fun and interactive and valuable tips were given.

I wish we had more time to practice more demo teaching.

I definitely recommend the course and the instructor not just to newbies but even existing teachers wanting to go online.

My journey through the 10-hour Advanced Virtual TEFL Classroom Methodologies was an incredibly valuable and enjoyable experience from start to finish.

Our wonderful instructor, Michelle Kaufmann was competent, communicative, insightful and engaging for the entirety of the course. She established a learning environment in which queries were encouraged and always met with informative answers. She also consistently gave each student the support and constructive feedback needed for them to make the most of the course. In our small virtual class, every individual was granted the opportunity to practise what we were taught which subsequently ensured that we truly absorbed the content. I also appreciate the opportunity to teach a mock lesson in which we had to put into practice everything that we had learnt throughout the course, which proved to be an incredibly valuable learning curve. I now feel confident and fully equipped to embark on the online English teaching endeavour!

The actual material we used throughout the course is also very well-structured and comprehensible.

If you are considering taking this course, I can confidently assure you that it is a decision that will be highly beneficial and thoroughly enjoyable.

The 10 Hours Advanced Virtual TEFL Classroom Methodologies was an amazing experience from start to finish!

Michelle Kaufmann our lovely instructor was competent, engaging and supportive. She created a learning environment where questions were welcomed and consistently gave each student constructive feedback. The course content was incredibly well-structured and easy to understand. I also value the practise component in which we were allowed to practise all we had been taught by teaching a lesson that we had planned ourselves using the stipulated guidelines.

Now I feel ready and fully equipped to embark on my TEFL teaching endeavours.

I don’t normally write reviews, but the TEFL Institute is certainly worthy of one. The courses are comprehensive without being overwhelming, tests after to ensure you fully understand. Lessons are interactive and have both visual and audio aspects making it feel like a proper class in your own environment and, most importantly, at your own time. I recently completed the IELTS and found it to be educational, the perfect guide on how to approach this job opportunity and ensure exam readiness.

I have also started a level 5 diploma, which offers guidance from tutors via email, and a discord server, an effective way to communicate amongst other students also pursuing any of the courses. With my level 5 course, I got a 10 hour Virtual TEFL course presented by Michelle Kaufmann. I honestly loved this course, despite being anxious of not knowing what to expect. She’s an incredible instructor with years of experience and tips to help each student. I left that class feeling confident, and for that? Thank you.

When it comes to potential cons, I think the biggest one for me would be the inability to print the interactive courses with ease, I have found that to be a struggle since I can’t use the annotating note taking method. Nevertheless, it is important to note that you have 24/7 access to your course online.

So the printing would be great, but not a deal breaker in the slightest. If I did this course again, the only thing I would change… I think I’d make more use of the tutors instead of trying to do it all myself. Perhaps spend more time reading the extra sources provided that helps with clarity. I would recommend this Institute to absolutely everyone. The site itself explains everything before you even join, so you’re not going into this confused or unsure of what to expect.
