Completed the 20 hour Teaching English Online course. Have taken lots of courses in the past and this is the first one I could rate every aspect as excellent. Well presented materials that were stimulating and informative. The course assignments were well structured and interesting to complete. The course gave me more confidence and I certainly will be putting my acquired knowledge and skills into practice with my teaching online. A thank you to Clare my tutor (and William) for her prompt and valued feedback. I am missing my course and going to take another one! I would certainly recommend Global English to anyone.

The TESOL course I’ve just finished online with Global English has helped me feel much more confident about planning lessons and delivering them in an engaging, interesting way to a variety of students of different levels and abilities. Before lockdown, I was working with a class of refugees, helping them with improve their English. I had been feeling a bit unconfident and rusty (having done a TEFL course around 30 years ago).

I found the modular layout of the course clear and logical. The clips illustrating sample lessons and different points were great and there were a lot of helpful and practical tips about how to engage students with a logically structured lesson plan with a clear objective.

The assessments and exercises were useful to put in to practice the theme of the module and Steve was a great help with feedback. I’ve bookmarked the numerous websites referred to during the course which I’ll definitely refer to in future.

While searching online for a structured course on Teaching English Online – I came across TEO with Global English.

This course was perfect for me to gain an underdstanding of the ins/outs of Teaching Online. The course laid out the approaches and benefits of how to become an online teacher.

In addition the course critiques online agencies so that you are better prepared to make a choice, if you want to teach via an agency or as an independent.

The guidance on preparing a lesson plan is also excellent especially if you are building your student base while also providing easy access to resources and tools.

Great job – Global English.

I have desired to do a TESOL course for a number of years now, and have finally got round to completing it. The Global English 250 hour Worldwide TESOL course is what helped me do it.

The structure of course is excellent. The content in each module was interesting, well designed, easy to follow, fluent with sufficient challenges and checkpoints to help you measure your aptitude / progress. The course gives you a time guide for each module which proved really valuable in planning and setting goals. The course also gives you access and suggestions to different resources, teaching ideas, partner websites and more that will surely be of use long after completing the course.

Throughout the course I really appreciated my tutor Kerry, who was quick to answer questions, give great support, motivation and expert insight / advise when needed.

This course is time and cost effective. I took a year to complete this course in addition to working and studying during this time. During this time I often compared what I was doing in this course to friends that had done other TESOL courses and realized that this course has equipped me much better.

I recommend this course to any aspiring English teacher

I have really enjoyed undertaking my TESOL Professional 300 hour course with Global English. I completed the 300 hour course in 5 months, as I had decided to retrain to change my career. However, with I believe 2 years to complete a course, you are under no time pressue at all, so you could easily fit this around working if you have the discipline.

You are eased in gently to the platdform and the questions are straight forward, many starting off with multiple choice, which continues throughout the course and you can review back to find the answers. However this changes, as that would make it too easy!

So, if like me you have not studied in many years, it’s a great way to break you back into studying. With this level of certificiation, the questions do of course become more in depth where you will write short essays and also start to develop lesson plans. The guidance is excellent and all great preparation for the future. Fedback from the turtor is ALWAYS positive and encouraging.

Global English tutors are extremely proficient and at the top of the market. They are friendly and highly responsive to any questions or concerns you may have. I was so well encouraged and supported and felt spurred on to achieve. I am really proud of what I have achieved but could not of done this without the wonderful tutor support.

It’s a great way to get qualified to become a TESOL teacher and I highly recommend taking your TESOL certification or any other related courses with Global Knowledge.

I’ve never done TESOL before but wanted to complete a course during the extra I had in lockdown in preparation for my year abroad teaching. The assessments were appropriately challenging and the feedback was always constructive. Kerry, my tutor, was fantastic and answered any questions I had in amazing time, so I wasn’t left waiting for ages for results. I completed the 150-hour Premier Plus course and have received my qualification. I feel much better for my year abroad, thanks Global English!

I have really enjoyed taking this 100 hour TESOL course through Global English and will highly recommend it to my colleagues. It has been a wonderful learning journey for me, with an excellent tutor assisting, who gave me helpful, practical suggestions and wonderful insight along the way. This online course is manageable and very well-laid out, and you can work at your own pace, which is a bonus. If you put in the time and effort it takes, you will be successful. I spent a while researching TEFL courses before opting for the Global English course as an accredited and ISO 9001-certified course. I have just completed the 150-hour TESOL Premier Plus course and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

The course was well structured and started with the basics such as classroom management before moving on to the different stages involved in lesson planning and how to teach grammar.

I liked the modular structure with a suggested time for each part so that you could always see your current progress and marks gained. As this was purely an online course without teaching practice I found the videos showing actual classroom teaching situations very useful (BTW, I don’t know why I have to rate “practice teaching” on this site and have no option of saying “not applicable”). In addition to the course material many links to further TEFL material were provided. I have bookmarked many sites for futher reference.

The support from my tutor, Steve Button, was excellent and he marked my work promptly and with constructive comments – I felt he was really taking time to read what I had written. I have also signed up for the young learners course with Global English which I will be starting shortly.

I will be looking for a part-time teaching position or private tuition and the course has given me the confidence to do this – which is precisely what I wanted from it.

I’ve just completed the 250 hour Worldwide TESOL course with Global English and thought it was brilliant. The modules were well designed and the content was excellent. The course was designed well and offered a great source of resources and facilities to support me the whole way through.

I thought my Tutor (Denise) was really helpful and throughout the course she provided good, clear and honest feedback. I was impressed with the speedy marking and prompt response time to questions that I’d asked. I especially valued being able to ask my tutor questions about her experience of teaching in different contexts and for advice and tips in how this could relate to my own plans and future teaching English. I also found it very helpful from a Christian perspective, as the course covered faith in relation to teaching English as a foreign/second language and provided some great resources for partner websites and work opportunities to look into.

Some of the modules and lesson plans were challenging, but I felt that I was provided with plenty of support and resources to help and guide me. I enjoyed the variety of assignments and lesson plans and found that by being tested within each module was an effective way to review my performance and to encourage my progress.

I would definitely recommend this course to anyone who wishes to take a TEFL/TESOL course. It was so easy to complete online through the website and student portal. The course was really relevant to teaching today and included up to date resources and material, that made participating a fun experience. I feel that this course has really prepared me for teaching in the classroom and online.

This course was a bonafide live saver. It was perfectly catered for what i needed, as i am applying for the HK NET Scheme, the course was literally designed for those applying to this. Specifically the teaching practice. It was effective and served its purpose well.

The course content is solid, and as someone who has completed previous TEFLs it’s what you’d expect, solid groundwork for any aspiring English teacher. One thing i did really like was the open questions, and the multiple choice questions being a 1 time question, meaning if you make a mistake you cant correct it.

My previous TEFL allowed for repeat tries of both them, and I feel that cheapens your grade. What score you get on this TEFL you earn.

Regarding the staff and tutor. My tutor Kerry was very kind and helpful, she catered her feedback to me specifically, I didn’t feel like it was generic. And she took into account my prior experience as I was working as a teacher already.

The admin staff were excellent, they were able to help me whenever i needed, and speedily as well. Massive props to William, he definitely quickly and concisely answered all questions and rectified any problems.

Timing and cost. The course is relatively on par with other TEFL courses, if not slightly cheaper. Regarding time, due to my extreme situation, I really finished this course extremely quickly. But it isn’t because the course is easy. The course gives you 180 days to complete, which is more than enough time. But if you spread it out, it would definitely be a good relaxing option.

Highly recommend for an aspiring English teacher
