Description

International TEFL and TESOL Training has been providing TESOL courses, TESOL certification, and opportunities for teaching English abroad for nearly a quarter of a century. I have taught adults English conversation for 27 years and it has been my passion. I must point out that I am glad to have decided to complete the 120 hour ITTT course and the 50 hour specialization of Teaching English Online,

I have always taught students the language in a creative manner by keeping a balance between practical methods and functional grammar. Having always had the yearning for knowledge, I decided to do both the courses which did justice to the field of teaching, especially in the technical aspects of teaching online and the numerous resources available to teachers. It would, however, have been greatly beneficial to have more teaching practice in the course.

I love the ESA methodology, and the teaching materials that go with each stage are very interesting and helpful. The course contents, task sheets, unit tests and summative task are all well planned and easy for even those who are not technology savvy. Follow up procedures are very prompt.

I applaud the ITTT team and would certainly recommend their courses to all those desirous to teach English as a Foreign Language.

It has been a great course. I have learned a lot of new concepts that, honestly, the current school where I give classes hadn’t taught me, and I understand why. This course it’s a great challenge and sacrifice. I really like it. I am about to know about job assistance to qualify it but I hope I can get an opportunity abroad. Thanks so much for your support.

Overall this is an excellent course. Both text and video introduced a clear course. But there is not too much teaching practice, maybe because of the theme and format of the course.

It was an amazing experience studying under iTTT and I was engaged fully. Everything was quickly understood and nothing was too complicated. Highly recommend iTTT’s courses for a brighter career in English Teaching and the experience that comes with it.

This course is really excellent in all points. It is professional and up to date, and what is most important: helpful for beginning teachers.

Just completed 120 hour program. It was challenging and I was shocked how little I was taught in my US education regarding my own English Language. I loved this course and highly recommend all teachers take it. Regardless of you want to teach on line or in a foreign country. This program teaches you to just be a better more informed teacher.

I had an excellent learning experience with ITTT. The units were well designed and the entire course was run smoothly.

I had opted for the tutor support course and I found my tutor to be very prompt with her support. She always gave professional, clear and comprehensive answers to my queries.

The support and hand-holding after completion of the course is astonishing and only shows how dedicated ITTT is towards preparing its students professionally. This inspires loyalty within me as an alumna and I will be sure to recommend ITTT to anyone who might be looking for a TEFL course.

These days there is a requirement for online learning. This course would be better for including information about how a student could launch out on their own, equipped with the technical knowledge that they would need to set up a class. I sorely missed receiving this information. This is not disregarding the efforts ITTT is making at sending students jobs online. Apart from the technical know-how, the syllabus would do better to include teaching ideas and games which were more amenable towards online transaction. In fact, I think there could be two versions of the course, one for offline teaching as it is at present and the other for online teaching.

I also think that some practice teaching as would happen on an online platform would give the students great confidence.

Frankly speaking, before taking my ITTT 220 master certificate course, I had no idea on how to go about it, I just thought everything there would be complicated to comprehend but it wasn’t as I thought. After registration, I realized that all the contents in each of of the units were clealy noted and justified with obvious suggestions, ideas, and examples on each aspect that the unit taught about. Even though I’ve been in the teaching field for quite some years now, what ITTT taught me during my 220 course was marvelous and cherishing, let just take the ESA methodology style of teaching for example, it taught me the various ways on how to begin a class, (Engage phase), before taking ITTT course, I thought that everything that I was doing in the classrom as an ESL teacher was the right thing but it wasn’t because, I wasn’t having any idea on how to commence a class and most often I would just enter the classrroom and just begin the class without engaging the students which I think was a very bad thing to as a teacher.

Study phase, ITTT taught me what is it really to do during the study phase of a lesson, and ever since I got adapted to this method, my teaching skills has completeley changed and I have gain much improvement on my teachings because I am now using ITTT methods of teaching at the moment which is really encouring in the classroom.

The Activate phase, the last method which I again adapted to was the ESA Activate phase of the lesson which also broadened my mind a lot on what to do in the classroom during the Activate phase, without ITTT I would be able to acquire such a knowledge on the ESA methodology. I therefore and sincerely give thanks to ITTT for their great courses offered to teachers of the world today without you many teachers wouldn’t know what to do in their teaching to be honest. I say anyone willing to take ITTT course to stand up and go for it for the lessons taught are all beneficial to us teachers which are effective and helpful in the classroom.

While doing the 120-hour part of my course, I found the materials to be easy to understand, comprehensive, and relevant to teaching English as a foreign language. Even though I’m a native English speaker, I still learned a lot about the language in addition to all of the teaching material.

I already had prior experience in teaching before I attended ITTT courses, but I still learned alot with them!
