TEFL Worldwide Prague offers a 4-week internationally recognised and accredited TEFL course in the enchanting city of Prague.

Our 130-hour TEFL course provides an excellent insight into TEFL approaches and methods, as well as 6 to 8 hours of hands-on teaching practice in real classrooms. The teaching practice during the TEFL course will give you a solid foundation when beginning your first job teaching English abroad.

We will support you before, during and after the course and help you find a teaching job after graduating. You can stay and teach in Prague or teach all over the world. Graduates usually find work 1-2 weeks after the course. We are part of a large language school in Prague, so many graduates come and work for us straight after the course.

This course was absolutely amazing. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable, but most importantly they were extremely friendly. The lessons were incredibly useful for teaching, and the teaching practices were full of brilliant students. The teaching experience was amazing. It might be a little intimidating at first, but I guarantee it’s worth it. There’s a lot of work to do, but if you’re determined to succeed, you’ll get through it. All in all this was a splendid experience.

I went into the course having no idea what I was about to do. But I was not disappointed! The course is very engaging and it’s very useful that you graduate with experience. Everything was absolutely amazing and there was more than enough support given during the course. 100% recommend.

Can 100% recommend partaking in this course! After graduating in 2016, I immediately picked up employment and have been teaching ESL ever since. TEFL Worldwide taught me some fantastic skills that I’ve been able to utilize in each and every one of my classes since. The course is intense but the friends that you make and the things that you learn and achieve in the meantime are more than rewarding. Fantastic trainers, great facilities and all of which in an utterly beautiful city!

The TEFL worldwide staff is friendly and upfront about the course from the very beginning. It was my first time in the Czech Republic and the transition was so simple all questions were answered from transportation in the city to course materials. The instructors have a fairly diverse background and networking throughout the world. I was given enough freedom to figure out my own teaching style and plenty of resources to pull from when I was struggling. I highly recommend this course perhaps my only regret would be to take this course during a cold season (winter months are smaller classes usually) in order to get more one-to-one instructor time. Though the pro of being in a large class is more peers to receive feedback from as well.

I learned so much more than I expected to in such a short time with TEFL Worldwide Prague! The high expectations and immediate applications of what we learned really helped in solidifying the lesson for us, which we got to experience from the point of view of both the students and teacher.

Truly the only con that I can think of is that I was there in the middle of July and I greatly missed air conditioning. But as for the quality of the program, I am still astounded by how helpful they continue to be. I was certified 4 years ago, and staff there are still very responsive to emails and serve as great resources to any questions I might have.

Great course. I learned so much that I wouldn’t have learned otherwise during the class portion, and the practice teaching and feedback is invaluable. There’s support before, during, and after the course. Kind faculty and staff. 🙂

I signed up for TEFL worldwide Prague not really knowing what to expect. But the quality of the programme, instructors and support really blew me away! I haven’t regretted it since. TEFL worldwide does an incredible job of preparing you for the work and lifestyle you can expect as an expat teacher. It also gives you the skills and experience to be competitive in the field. I completed the TEFL Worldwide Prague course back in the summer of 2013. At first I just viewed it as another qualification to add to my CV and something fun to do in the summer holiday, however little did I know how useful it would be and the memories I would make. The course is run very well, it is organised and structured in a way that makes it easy to learn and study whilst also enjoying your time in a new city. The teaching practice elements which included teaching Czech students, although a little intimidating at first, were very useful and really helped to apply what was learnt into real life situations. Through this I also had the opportunity to meet new people whom I still stay in contact with. One of the best parts of the course were the instructors who were so full of guidance and advice, who were great teachers, and who to this day have been helping me to apply for jobs and teaching programmes.

Thanks to this course and the guidance from the instructors, I have now been teaching English in Hong Kong for 4 years. I have been a teacher in an English language learning centre, a kindergarten teacher, and a class teacher to nursery children. The course was the first real stepping stone to my career as a teacher.

The course really helps people to prepare for the real world of teaching and it is definitely a worthwhile experience. I would therefore have no hesitation in recommending it to someone in the future!

You can find a lot of TEFL schools in Prague but I’m definitely recommending this one. Firstly, Kenny is the most amazing trainer you can get. He is cheerful, caring, attentive, funny and definitely passionate about his job. He has so many experiences from Asia to Europe which makes him the best person you can seek guidance and advice from. I’m currently teaching myself but I definitely miss Kenny’s classes everyday.

Cheryl is the most cheerful and outgoing person I’ve met. She is always there to help you with the most basic thing such as allowing me to ship my online purchases to the school, how to set up a bank account and so on. They promise assistance and they deliver it perfectly. That makes my life and transition to Prague so much easier.

My two other favourite people would Dana and Veronika. Always assisting me with lifestyle concerns and even a fun chat. Always wonderful to come across them in the reception. Lastly, it would definitely be my classmates. We ended up bonding and loving the course because it managed to bring out the best in us.

Overall, this institution became my second family in Prague and I assure that anyone who chooses TEFL Worldwide Prague would have a great time. Just call them, talk to them and they will be there for you all the time. No regrets, just a wonderful experience for a lifetime!

TEFL Worldwide Prague allowed my family and I to live our dream of moving abroad. The professional staff answered my questions and gave me all the information I needed to feel comfortable making the big move from the U.S. in January 2018.

I had no teaching experience so the class was a great training ground for me to have time to learn. The instructors were always available for questions and helped make me better each time I taught. It is a lot of work but everything I learned during the 4 weeks has applied to my real world teaching experience.

TEFL Worldwide also helped me find plenty of opportunities for employment in Prague. They are a great group of people who care about their students and alumni.
