I completed my level 5 TEFL training with the TEFL academy, and I can honestly say that it was one of the best decisions of my life. The online portion of my training is well-structured making it easy to navigate and absorb the content. The content exceeded my expectations. I learnt how to structure a lesson, and and how to teach grammar and various topics within this structure using interesting techniques.
I was able to apply my new acquired skills and knowledge immediately by teaching my peers during the in-person training day facilitated by one of the TTA’s instructors. My newly acquired skills and knowledge was also put to the test in various rigorous tests and assignments which I completed. The TTA team is very helpful and attentive to the students’ needs. My calls and emails were always answered quickly and I was supported accordingly. Upon completion of the course, the support didn’t end there, the team helped me set up a great CV and cover letter for job applications. The jobs board, available on the TTA website is another is another massive help. All in all, I believe the TEFL course I did at the TTA is one of the best investment’s I’ve made in my life, and I know it will serve me well in the near future.
