I just completed my Online Traching Practicum and I could have not asked for a better tutor! Charlie is competent, always available to answer any question and doubt, very funny and engaging. Her lessons run smoothly, she gives a lot of examples and her ideas and suggestions are easy to put into practice. She was also very patient in clearly explaining Zoom features and programs settings when we had troubles with our presentations. I really appreciated her calm and easy approach.

The content of the course was very well structured: I learnt a lot in a very short time and all the information provided will be very beneficial in the near future.

Thank you for giving me new tools to improve my experience!

Overall, I found the course to be very well executed. Very well structured and systematic.

Very condensed, packed and fast pace. With quite a lot materials to be covered, perhaps it would be good to extend 1 more session.

Really enjoyed the two weekend course! Elizabeth was such a positive and enthusiastic teacher and made us feel so good. I personally thought a virtual class would be a bit strange but she made it amazing!

Elizabeth was energetic, motivated and trying to teach us everything we will need in order to succeed as TEFL teacher.

Very forward and direct approach.

The exercises and practical lessons we did were very engaging and showed us all the different routes to take in order to deliver a successful lesson!

Very positive experience altogether.

Elizabeth was an outstanding instructor and gave us excellent guidance through out the course. I especially enjoyed the practice teaching sessions, not only did I learn a lot but seeing my peers lessons as well was very beneficial. I feel much more prepared to start teaching English!

Everything about thia course was excellent. Brilliantly structured, thorough yet not overwhelming and properly educational. Best of all was our online tutor, Elizabeth. She instantly made everyone feel comfortable and confident, delivered all the material in very approachable, comprehensible and engaging manner and her feedback and advice was always both spot-on and constructive.

Fantastic course, especially considering the limitations of online learning.

Simon made the experience engaging and informational, and despite having little prior experience in running lessons and creating lesson plans, I feel like I have made significant progress in a very short time. Simon is a credit to the TEFL organisation.

I enjoyed the course – Simon gave loads of examples of his experiences and the content was good. When I did this course, I’d only completed the Pre-course module – I felt a bit out of my depth and would have preferred in retrospect to have done it later in my online learning. I wonder if you could advise that in the information online? In particular, running a 10 minute lesson each weekend was intense – some pre-warning of that would be good as I wasn’t expecting homework on the first weekend.

I also found the first weekend’s open feedback following my lesson a bit negative – I had been really nervous and the only positive thing I remember Simon saying was that I had a lovely Highlands accent. Maybe a follow up of written feedback to reflect on would be better as I’m sure there must have been other things mentioned.

Having said this, I do think it’s a good weekend course and I learnt loads.

I thoroughly enjoyed the virtual classroom course and feel that I got what I wanted out of it. I learned so much about teaching English and I feel much more confident about this now. I enjoyed all of the group activities and felt that we were given sufficient support and advice regarding the lesson planning. Simon the tutor was extremely helpful and encouraging and there was a really nice atmosphere amongst the group. I’d definitely recommend this course to my friends!

I feel I have learnt so much on all the courses I have done with TEFL.org and I was able to learn at my own pace and without feeling pressured. The online practicum was a bit daunting at first but with such an enthusiastic and warm teacher we were all put at ease and able to learn and enjoy the sessions.

This is such a friendly and supportive organisation. Thank you for all your help and for making me feel part of a larger, global learning community.
