The two day classroom course was both informative and enjoyable. For me it reiterated my objective of becoming a language teacher , I gained me some valuable tools to prepare for the job and it gave me a boost of motivation.

Stephen’s infectious passion for teaching made the course rich with interaction , laughter and positive learning.

The fact that it was only two days, made the course extremely intensive which, to me, was the only down side!

From start to finish, the three days dedicated to the course went by in a flash and while we were deluged with information, it was always demonstrated and explained well so it was very pleasurable and informative.

Iona taught us by leading by example and explaining everything clearly. From lesson planning to classroom management, she covered everything with charisma and enthusiasm and a wealth of experience. This created a comfortable and enjoyable atmosphere where we learned from her. This atmosphere also allowed camaraderie to build amongst the students so I enjoyed working with them. By the end, I felt confident about what we had learnt and enjoyed my time there.

The venue was located in a great area and had fantastic facilities and refreshments.

3 long days felt like it would be horrible but it actually went by a lot quicker than I expected. I actually felt quite sad by the time it finished.

Iona was a lovely teacher, very knowledgeable and helpful. Lots of opportunities for questions, always checking if we understand. Good explanations of lesson planning methods.

Good venue, lovely refreshments. Wonderful.

the course itself gave me an insight into lesson planning and delivery, which the online course would not have gone into depth with.

as a group we were allowed to converse and rely on others, instead of having the answers spoon fed to us.

i would have liked more feedback in written form, so i could’ve worked on any mistakes, instead of trying to remember what had worked and didn’t work.

overall this was a course that will help others successfully plan in a classroom environment.

A very intensive course that covered all topics relating to the class room and its management. The atmosphere at the venue was very relaxed and very comfortable. The course tutor was very experienced and made everyone feel welcome and respected. It was fun too!

I would highly recommend this course to all budding English Teachers out there!

I came into the course for teaching thinking it would be like any other lecture or lesson I have previously taken.

Instead it was an interactive, useful and engaging couple of days were the theory was secondary to the practice and activities.

I finished the course feeling confident employing skills to improve my teaching with practice.

Meeting like minded people was re-assuring that this is a great opportunity to take in teahcing english abroad.

I had approached this weekend with a certain amount of dread as 20 hours’ non-stop learning sounded extremely intensive. However, I can honestly say that it’s a weekend I will never forget. Steve was a brilliant teacher, there was a really good dynamic in the classroom and the learning was both informative and fun.

Steve’s humourous and refreshing approach has brought teaching to life for me and made me feel much more positive about being a TEFL teacher.

The thought the course and instructor were first rate. Kirsty held our attention for two very long sessions. I felt she was friendly and approachable and really knew her subject. She encouraged us with praise. I felt at times challenged but not overwhelmed and I feel proud of the course and the certification I have now achieved. I think the experience brought out the best in me and I feel prepared to apply for Tefl jobs.
