Having just completed the TEYL course. I would like to say that the course was well written and structured. Tasks were varied, challenging and I enjoyed carrying out the assignments. The overall experience was highly positive as guidance was clear and any queries that I did have was dealt promptly by the tutor. Feedback received was helpful and welcomed. I would not hesitate in recommending this course to anyone pursuing a career in ESL.

It’s been a great deal and addition to my teaching endeavor, since I enrolled on TEFL/TEYL 120-hour Specialized course. Though, I had been on the teaching field before I started the 120-hour Specialized on TEFL/TEYL. However, the experience I have now in this course of study, is overwhelming and amazing.

This is a program that drills any English teacher for different levels, stages or phases in course of teaching any kind of students. The program has helped me in great deal, both in ‘lesson planning’, and also in ‘delivering the lesson in the classroom’.

The program is enriched with different kind of materials, which has helped and added a lot on my teaching career.

It’s also an eye opener in teaching English language, especially to non-English speakers.

My tutors, Aaron M. and Claudia B., they were so amazing and friendly. Their comments and feedbacks on assignments are so excellent. They had imparted great knowledge on me. Especially on lesson plan designing.I really enjoyed my time with them.

An excellent program that helps me get my certificate as well as provide the feedback I need in order to improve and plan my lessons. I’m a complete novice when it comes to teaching but it’s one of my dreams to teach ESL. OnTESOL certificate programs are well balances, great resources, professional instructors and most importantly, flexible.

I work a lot so going to school for my certificate is very difficult for me but their program was great and it allowed me to learn a lot while working around my own schedule.

Their website also helps provide resources for a job placement going to China, Russia, Thailand, South Korea, and more!

Overall, the TEFL course at Ontesol was great. My tutors were Aaron and Claudia. They were very supportive throughout the course. The course content wasn’t too difficult, however it did need a lot of work with assignments, readings, practices and 2 tests. My tutor’s contrasting styles gave me multiple perspectives on the different topics. The course material and syllabus are easy to follow. It is a lot of work; however, if you do the work, you will do well in the course.

OnTESOL TEFL certificate course has prepared me well to be certified as an international English teacher, although an accountant by profession. I have been a part-time teacher in Ghana but didn’t know of ESL teaching until I met a friend in Istanbul who got me introduced to it. At the beginning, ı was in a dilemma as to which ESL course provider that I had to choose since there is a tall list of them including the ones he had already given me. With my research, however, I got settled on OnTESOL due to their timely feedback and most importantly their internationally structured course contents to meet the needs of ESL teaching.

OnTESOL course modules were simple and well structured to convey the exact meaning and the assignments will further test and broaden your understanding level, which I much benefited from. My tutors, Aaron and Claudia gave me the best virtual learning experience. Their guidance and feedback were of immense help. In all, there was great value for what I paid for. I recommend OnTESOL courses to native/non-native English speakers, teachers and potential teachers.

What a wonderfully convenient way to complete a course! The 120 hr online TESOL course was practical, as I am also working full time. The course was incredibly informative, and I found the instructor to be both helpful, and knowledgeable. Responses to questions and feedback for assignments were both prompt and constructive. I’m very happy with the course, and the program itself!

I have truly enjoyed my experience taking the online 100 hour TESOL certificate with ONTESOL. The course instructor Ainsley was very helpful, provided feedback and guidance.

The two part course was easily accessible online, flexible and convenient to work from home any time. I was able to take this certificate while I was working. I gained knowledge in grammar, methodology, and phonology and the readings were informative and well structured. I learned ways to teach adult ELLs and create individualized lesson plans that are geared towards their English language needs.

Overall, my experience taking this certificate with ONTESOL was positive and provided me with strategies, theories and knowledge. I have been applying what I have learned from this course to my lesson plans that I have been teaching to students.

The convenience (indeed the necessity) of completing a course completely online was what drew me to OnTesol. I completed all tasks at home or in the library, and the feedback I received was prompt and helpful. This course was very instructive, and I have learned quite a bit that I will continue to use, both in teaching and in my daily life as an English speaker. I am new to this field, and thus do not have other experiences to compare it to, but I found the assignments and grading fair.

I finished the online TESOL course and Practicum in December. The material and tutor support in the online course are excellent. The course takes you into the classroom through practical assignments and you are really prepared to stand in front of a class after the online portion, but I can’t stress enough how important it is to take the Practicum because you get to see how all the methodology comes to light in a real class and you get extra feedback from a qualified teacher that sits next to you the whole class.

As for facilities, they work with different schools in Toronto. Overall, the schools were very nice and allowed me to use their wifi and even gave me coffee. The only drawback is that it took one of the schools a few weeks to set up the classes. I wasn’t in a hurry and it helped me prepare my lessons but some people may want to get certified quickly. If you are looking for good a part-time course, then go with ontesol!!!

As for job placement, they are very well known in Toronto and helped me get started with a couple of subbing jobs. They also work with recruiters abroad but I haven’t used these services. I kind of wish they had more in Latin America, although their service is great considering that it’s free.
