Description
TEFL Worldwide Prague offers a 4-week internationally recognised and accredited TEFL course in the enchanting city of Prague.
Our 130-hour TEFL course provides an excellent insight into TEFL approaches and methods, as well as 6 to 8 hours of hands-on teaching practice in real classrooms. The teaching practice during the TEFL course will give you a solid foundation when beginning your first job teaching English abroad.
We will support you before, during and after the course and help you find a teaching job after graduating. You can stay and teach in Prague or teach all over the world. Graduates usually find work 1-2 weeks after the course. We are part of a large language school in Prague, so many graduates come and work for us straight after the course.
Established in 2003, TEFL Worldwide has over 3500 graduates who have taught in 60+ countries. The course comes highly recommended by our graduates and language school employers. Visit our website to see and hear what they have to say.
TEFL Worldwide is accredited by IATQuO (The International Accreditation of TESOL Qualifying Organisations) and The Ministry of Education in the Czech Republic.

Taking this TEFL course was one of the best things I’ve done in my 27 years of living. I read many reviews about this particular course and they all were positive for a reason.
In my opinion, the most important thing was the staff. They were exceptional! While I came prepared for an intense and heavy workload, Kenny (aka Kveto), Adrian, Zach, Petra, and Gywneth exceeded my expectations in regards to their knowledge, willingness to help, and their ability to break all of the concepts down to a very understandable level.
While challenging, the course can go smoothly if you manage your free time wisely. Myself and many of my classmates with four year degrees were humbled by the new concepts, but they tell you exactly everything you need to know so pay attention and don’t be a know it all. The office staff also were friendly, engaging, and willing to give advice about Prague, jobs and housing after the course, and any other random questions I had (like where I could get a hole in my favorite jeans sewn).
The facility (which you will spend a lot of time in) was up to par, and provided everything we needed to comfortably and effectively learn and teach. I would suggest staying in the Hotel Pivovar if you want to be close to the school. You can go to your room on your lunch break, and sleep in later. The villa is a 10 ish minute walk up a hill, but also has a nice view and more open rooms.
The course prepared us for interviews after the course as well, and helped us design a CV that would be appealing to future employers. Since graduating, I have had no trouble whatsoever finding a job. I feel confident during interviews with all the knowledge I gained from the course. I still use all the notes I took, lesson plan templates, and teaching practices.
The second most important thing for me was the job guidance they give you. Once you decide to take the course (and you will after reading this) you will have access to a Google drive folder that is regularly updated with job offers from all around the globe. Vietnam, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Indonesia, Czech Republic, Croatia, Spain, Italy, Russia. You name it, they have it.
Can’t forget the students you get to practice with. Most of them are local Czech natives, and they really appreciate having the chance to speak and learn English. They also added another worthwhile component to my TEFL experience.
Taking this course has helped me expand my horizons, and I’m extremely grateful for the opportunities it has given me! Well worth the money! Preesh TEFL team.
