TEFL Worldwide Prague offers a 4-week internationally recognised and accredited TEFL course in the enchanting city of Prague.

Our 130-hour TEFL course provides an excellent insight into TEFL approaches and methods, as well as 6 to 8 hours of hands-on teaching practice in real classrooms. The teaching practice during the TEFL course will give you a solid foundation when beginning your first job teaching English abroad.

We will support you before, during and after the course and help you find a teaching job after graduating. You can stay and teach in Prague or teach all over the world. Graduates usually find work 1-2 weeks after the course. We are part of a large language school in Prague, so many graduates come and work for us straight after the course.

I took this class from a bit of an unusual position – I’d actually already been an English teacher in Japan for about 6 years at the time. I’d gotten a very high recommendation from a friend, and had been considering getting a TEFL certificate for a while, and when I found it was in Prague, a city I’ve always wanted to visit, that sold me. I was not disappointed in the least.

Even for an experienced teacher, there was a huge amount of great material in this course. There are no aspects of my lessons that I can’t find SOME way to improve with the things we covered. It is condensed, so it will come at you very fast, and it will take a LOT of work to get through it all, but it’s a brilliant program, and I can’t recommend it enough. Whether you’re seeking your first TEFL job or looking to bump up your skills,I highly recommend this course.

The staff and faculty are amazing and helpful, and the material is very thorough and does a great job of covering the various possible scenarios you may be called on to teach in. As an added bonus, Prague is an amazingly beautiful city, and an excellent place to do this course of study.

I won’t soon forget my time there, and neither will you.

I cannot recommend this course enough! I chose it primarily based on the other good reviews here, and they are accurate.

There are two main instructors, and they are both incredible. They are gifted teachers, and they use the principles for teaching English in their own classes to us. They provide thoughtful, precise, and constructive feedback. The course is busy, but in the best way possible.

In addition to the teachers, there are a number of assistants who help review lessons. They provide similarly high quality of feedback. There was not a person here who was not willing to provide extra help or who was not friendly. The instructors put in extra time and hours for the students, and it is clear that they do it because they love it. They are probably overqualified for the job but do it because they want to. 🙂

I found classes we were taught *fun* because they were so good. Also, many more hours of practice teaching, help with job placement, etc. than other programs. Help with housing and getting around was invaluable.

Honestly there are few institutions in the world that I think are functional, organized, effective, well-intentioned, and high-quality (and more), but this is one of them. Above and beyond worth it.

I know you’ve read so many reviews about TEFL Worldwide Prague that the plaudits have blended together: Great. Excellent. Highly qualified. And so on. Of course, those all apply to this intensive course, but I’m going to tell you why you ought to consider it at the very top of all the other TEFL courses. It was challenging but very useful and helpful. Many thanks to our teachers (I always wanted to have teachers like you), for director of this School (you made this place homelike), and for all the staff. They are very kind people. The teachers are very creative so they always make learning process interesting. Besides you have teaching practice in this course with real students (what’s very important) so you can be confident while giving your own lessons after the course ending as you’ve already known what means to be a teacher.

I can’t recommend TEFL Worldwide Prague highly enough. I just want to add that if you’re the person who enjoys acquiring new knowledge, this course is for you. Wish all of you good luck!

This is an amazing organization that gave me all the tools I need to be a good English teacher. This program was not only one of the best things I have done it also gave me the freedom to work and travel around the world. They have also helped by giving me continuous support even after the course was done. I highly recommend you use TEFL Worldwide Prague. It will not only been fun and interesting but give you the ability to teach all age groups.

I have just finished this course, it was absolutely amazing! Before coming to Prague and starting this course I had no experience teaching and now I feel confident I will have no problem teaching classes. The teachers were incredible and all of the staff were so supportive. It was clear they wanted you to succeed and would do whatever it took for that to happen. I would recommend this course to anyone who is willing to put the hard work in because it is a bit overwhelming, since it is only a month long.

I finished my TEFL course in December 2016. It was an incredibly busy month, but undescribay useful and rewarding. TEFL Worldwide’s input sessions were formatted to be indentical to the way they wanted you to teach. Both instructors were highly qualified and were able to administer a productive and migraine classroom while addressing any questions. TEFL WW pushes you into the classroom within the first week, which I remember to be very nerve-wracking, but completely necessary. I thoroughly enjoyed this course.

I can’t say enough good things about the program, the workers, and especially the teachers. I gained confidence in teaching within the first week. The workload is heavy but entirely manageable–great way to learn how to prep for teaching! I’m incredibly grateful for the support I found in the school, what I was taught in the course, and the feeling of family that came from the course. The instructors made an effort to work with us, get to know us individually, and continue helping and staying in touch afterwards. I had an instant sense of security within the course that has carried over to afterward. The preparation has proven immediately helpful in my time now teaching. I highly, highly recommend the course.

I did TEFL Worldwide in November 2016, left for the holidays and was working the day after I returned because of their Google Drive with job advertising. The course itself was awesome, I learned so much in those 4 weeks, made amazing friends, and got lots of practice and quality feedback. At interviews, the interviewers were always impress by the level of detail TEFL required in the lesson plans.

The course itself is fantastic, and the teachers and observers are helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend!

I took the TEFL Worldwide Prague course on November 2016. Before I enrolled in their program, I have researched online a lot and checked many schools (mostly in Europe). I noticed that TEFL Worldwide Prague got excellent reviews. I must admit that I was bit doubtful with the truthfulness of the reviews. It just seemed to me too good to be true. Now, after my graduation and great experience, I attest that TEFL Worldwide Prague was a great choice on my part and am very happy I took this course with them!!!

All was very good and very much satisfying! Especially, our course’s two trainers were A M A Z I N G and very talented! It was a true pleasure to be in their classroom and learn the TEFL way to teach English. Also the school’s owner was very helpful, particularly with CV and guidance…my only… very minor suggestion might be a soda/vending machine in school would have been nice :+) other than that, TEFL Worldwide Prague was an intense yet, simply exceptional course!

I highly recommend!

I attended the TEFL Worldwide Prague course back in April 2015. It was and is one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to teach in Prague and in Tokyo, meeting some great students and friends in the process. If you’re on the fence on attending this course, I really do recommend just going for it. If you’re like me, you’ll find a vocation that is truly rewarding and allows you to really make an impact on the lives of others.

What truly makes this TEFL course special are the instructors. Kenny, Adrienne, and Dan are extremely knowledgeable, kind, and supportive. Like me, this might be your first time teaching and you’re pretty nervous. Or maybe you’re worried that your English grammar is rusty. Helping each student achieve their goals and overcome their fears is where the quality of the instructors at TEFL WW really shines through. They will do everything in their power to help you feel confident, to understand the teaching methods, and to be the best teacher you can be. After graduation, you will be prepared to teach English lessons in any setting. From the office staff to the instructors, it’s really a great group of people there. Give the course a shot. You won’t regret it.
