Did the 120hr online course + weekend intensive a couple of years ago and found it to very comprehensive and informative. All the material, assignments and feedback were well laid out and easy to utilise and the workload easy to manage.

i have completed the 140 hour course and its definitely been a great accomplishment. The staff is amazing, very friendly and helpful! the course was interesting could be a bit overwhelming because i was so determined to do great in every quiz and assignment. The weekend practical is the best part of the course because you get actual teaching practise and you get to meet fellow teflers in your city. The i-to-i chalkboard community is another great thing about the company as you get to meet and interact with others from all over the world and you’d be suprised at how many great friendships you can build on an online social network and hey you might be helping each other find jobs so you can have a travel buddy! I highly recommend i-to-i to anyone wanting to go abroad and teach!

I was completely satisfied, having come from a Sales and Marketing background. I suppose I really did not have a point of reference because I worked all my life in my Industry which was not teaching.

I thought the two day practical course was adequate and one really has to get down to hands on teaching to gain the experience. After all this is an online course.

The tutor feedback was prompt and excellent. I thought quite a lot of emphasis was placed on lesson planning, if I recall a lesson plan had to be included with most assignments.

There is plenty of teaching opportunities for Native English speakers worldwide but it was on the strength of my i to i TESOL/TEFOL certificate that I secured a teaching job in Buenos Aires but I obviously obtained employment by myself.

Overall I think the 140 hour course I did was completely adequate and very good value for money.

I completed TEFL course online with i-to-i in December 2014. The course was well-organised, and the feedback that I received upon completing each chapter was always thorough. In addition, each time I encountered a problem with the interface, the support group was always there to help me. The only minor thing that could be improved would be to include as many as possible the available job placements in a country such as France and Switzerland (where I intend to find work). Otherwise, it was a good course, and I’d recommend it to anyone interested in becoming an english teacher to speakers of other languages.

This was honestly one of the best decisions of my life and I’m so glad I decided to do my TEFL course with I to I TEFL.

I have recommended this course to all of my friends and to this day, I still use my material I received throughout my course. I found the content to be helpful and because I could choose my main focus, it suited my needs perfectly. The tests and assignments were challenging – in a good way! This paired with the insightful feedback from the team is why I think this company is so reputable.

I was teaching while completing the course and was able to pay my studies to my job.

This course is not for people who want to be spoonfed Information and aren’t willing to work hard!

I decided to stay in my country and teach instead of travelling g abroad but have received countless beneficial and informative mails from I to I regarding job placements, that I will definitely use in the future.

Thank you I to I!

I decided that I needed to do something new after working for 35 years in the corporate world. As I had no teaching experience or degree, I felt that doing a 140 hour TEFL course would assist me in achieving some of my bucket list goals, one of them being able to teach English to foreign students abroad.

I thoroughly enjoyed the weekend training and working through the various assisgnments on line.

I found the TEFL team always to be friendly and helpful.

My only disappointment is that it was never mentioned that Internships have an age cap of 45 years, (I am 54) or how difficult it was going to be to get a teaching post without a degree of some sort.

Would I recommend TEFL, absolutely.

I did the 140 hours course and I really enjoyed it. Harder than I expected it to be, but thought it was brilliant. Learnt a lot myself from doing this course and I would recommend it to anyone who is considering teaching English abroad. However, the quality of the feedback could be improved as some of the feedback that I got wasn’t that great, unfortunately. They didn’t really explain what I needed to do, and when I got the question right they would just say “That’s OK”. Maybe a bit of praise would go a long way too, instead of just saying ‘OK’. But other than that, the course was very good. I enjoyed it a lot.

The course is very good. The format has now changed but on an overall I was happy with it.

It was harder than expected but still enjoyed doing it.

The resources are good and the PDFs of the classes are complete if you need to go back to them.

Thanks

I did the 140hr course, 20hours classroom and 120hours online. I enjoyed it, bits were difficult but tutor feedback was very helpful and any time I had a problem or struggled with a test or course content I was able to ring a TEFL instructor for help. The extra resources and videos from an actual classroom were also a great help as you could see how the content/section you were learning could be used and taught to different age groups of English learners. For me the only problem I had was it took a lot longer to complete as I also had college work and placement to do so I would advise planning how/when you will have enough time to complete the course. Other than that it was great, really interesting and enjoyable, and I can’t wait to put the things I’ve learned into action and teach abroad.

I have been studying with i-to-i since January 2012 – I originally did the 60 Online Course and then I was hooked! Since that completion I have now completed over 150 hours. The tutors are amazing and are always on hand to answer any questions. I am now in the position to teach online; which I have been doing for the last few months
