TEFL Worldwide Prague offers a 4-week internationally recognised and accredited TEFL course in the enchanting city of Prague.

Our 130-hour TEFL course provides an excellent insight into TEFL approaches and methods, as well as 6 to 8 hours of hands-on teaching practice in real classrooms. The teaching practice during the TEFL course will give you a solid foundation when beginning your first job teaching English abroad.

We will support you before, during and after the course and help you find a teaching job after graduating. You can stay and teach in Prague or teach all over the world. Graduates usually find work 1-2 weeks after the course. We are part of a large language school in Prague, so many graduates come and work for us straight after the course.

I selected TEFL Worldwide Prague due to the instructional program and all of the graduate testimonials I read on-line. The minute I arrived in Prague for the October 2013 course, I was greeted by very helpful and sincere staff who were very interested in my academic success. The course is very rigorous, challenging, and enabled me to learn the critical skills necessary in becoming an English teacher. I also appreciated the qualitative feedback from my course instructors and the instructional next steps to provide students with high quality instruction. The course content was exemplary in that it provided a very well-balanced program with instructional best practices, grammar, classroom management, and jobs abroad. I also appreciated the ongoing job assistance received throughout the program informing me of available jobs all over the world based on my preferences.

I would highly recommend TEFL Worldwide Prague due to the ongoing support from staff, exemplary instructional quality, and resources provided to ensure that I was fully prepared to provide and teach high quality English lessons to all students.

As of now, I am an English teacher here in Prague both working for a language school and conducting private lessons. Love the work and teaching here in Prague!!! Make the right choice and do the course at TEFL Worldwide Prague! You will not regret it!

I completed the TEFL Worldwide course in August 2013 and am so happy that I did. The trainers and staff were absolutely fantastic, the course content was helpful and relevant (albeit demanding), and the students in my course some of the best people I’ve met in a while. I strongly recommend taking this program if you’d like to get your TEFL in Prague, whether or not you decide to stay in the city afterward.

This was an excellent course. It was very clear from the start that everyone involved knew what they were doing. I really enjoyed it and it prepared me well for teaching. I wouldn’t try to step into a classroom without his type of experience under my belt. Money and time well spent in my opinion.

TEFL Worldwide Prague is a great course to take and can offer you many options to find a job where ever you like. The course itself can be compared to finals week but for a month instead of a week. Be prepared to be thrown into the deep end but they offer you a raft. You will need to complete lesson plans, teach in front of a class, look for a job, and find an apartment all in a month; you have to really want it and you will do fine. The teachers here are wonderful and the staff will help you find a job but you have to be determined. When you complete the course you feel very accomplished and ready to to face any challenge. Make sure you have spending money because there is a lot to do here in Prague.

I just finished the course at TEFL Worldwide Prague a few days ago & can honestly say it was one of the best months of my life.

A few months ago, I was about to graduate college and was uncertain about my future. I wasn’t looking forward to moving back home & have my mom nag me about chores & job hunting. I had studied abroad my junior year in Paris & was itching to go explore the world again.

I clicked on the TEFL Worldwide Prague site & was instantly hooked. I applied & 3 months later arrived in beautiful Prague. I really enjoyed the course. It is challenging & demanding, but completely prepares you. Dan & Kenny are excellent instructors, not to mention hilarious. The office staff is great too & super friendly!

I started applying for jobs early into the course & was surprised to get interviews at several locations. I was offered my dream job at a preschool before the course even ended!

It was only one month but I feel like the people I met in my TEFL course are my family. We had a great time together & really helped each other out. I know I have found a lifelong group of friends.

One year ago if you told me that this would be my life right now, I wouldn’t have believed you. But it happened. Take the chance, follow your dreams because I am living proof that they can definitely come true 🙂

Having recently finished the course, I can safely call TEFL Worldwide Prague an incredibly fulfilling experience. Two years ago I was an English major with a thirst to travel and challenge myself and without a clue as to what a feasible job option looked like. Teaching English abroad seemed like exactly the thing to do, and so I waited out my final two years of college, eager to start the process to move abroad.

Before moving, I was completely unsure as to how I would perform or how I would get on in a foreign country. I kept my expectations open and promised myself to try my best in every regard. And that turned out to be the best approach — this is a no-nonsense course. You WILL be challenged. And that is the way it should be. Because while other courses might grant you a certificate with less difficulty, you will probably not be ready to teach at the end of them. With TEFL Worldwide Prague, you are expected to teach early and often. Consequently, I went from feeling like I (personally) could not ever teach a class, to feeling completely comfortable doing it. It feels as though I’ve done the impossible multiple times. I am more than ready to start working.

Lastly and probably most importantly, you will meet amazing people. There is something special and specific about new friends coming together in an unfamiliar place. Though you’re together for a short time, you form bonds with these people that you can’t with others. Without a doubt, this is the thing to do if you want a fulfilling and meaningful experience. I couldn’t recommend this course enough.

One of the most rewarding experiences of my entire life. This school is dedicated to education and building confidence in the classroom. TEFL Worldwide was an excellent choice. Initially, I was unaware of the specifics the school would offer and was unfamiliar with Prague. Upon completion of the course I discovered that this particular school is preferred by employers. I completed my certification in winter of 2012.

The instruction was clear, the amount of information was extremely useful, and the staff was helpful. The students were fantastic to work with. The instructors were knowledgeable and very professional and willing to assist with any questions I had.

The website is a good representation of the overall conditions of the school and housing. I found this information to be accurate so I was very comfortable during my stay.

Because the instruction was cohesive, I was able to meet the demands of the course and am very pleased with the knowledge I acquired. My career was enhanced and I have continued to use the skills taught through this TEFL course in a variety of ways.

I met students during my practice teaching that I continue to maintain friendships with. I recently had one student come to visit and we continued English lessons during that time – how cool is that?!

I enthusiastically recommend TEFL Worldwide Prague.

I am SO glad I picked TEFL Worldwide Prague as my school to earn my TEFL certificate.

The professors there were incredibly knowledgeable and helpful to me when I had difficulty understanding the material. They are down to earth and quite direct if they see a point you need to correct or work on within your teaching. This feedback is done to make you an effective English teacher – so please don’t take it personally, use their feedback to improve yourself.

As far as the classes and course – it’s intense and challenging because all the material is packed into one month so I suggest to be prepared and make sure you take plenty of notes and do not slack off. You paid money to do this, so make sure you use the time, resources, and professors available to make the TEFL course a rewarding experience for yourself.

As for the staff at TEFL – they are so nice and knowledgeable on jobs, visas, living and working in different countries around the world and always respond to my e-mails within 1-2 business days. They are also a vital resource to use while you take the TEFL course.

And what can I say about Prague!!!!!! Well, by the end of the course my heart was set for Prague and I didn’t want to go or teach anywhere else. This may differ from person to person, but Prague is one heck of a city you must explore (when you have some time!) while taking the TEFL Worldwide Course.

I completed the April 2013 TEFL Worldwide Prague course and it was the brilliant experience. I have no teaching background or education. Kenny and Dan showed all steps from how to plan the lesson to the brilliant lesson feedback that after those 4 weeks I feel the ability to teach. All inputs sections were really good planned with the clear ideas and mainly all of them were interesting. Those 4 weeks were demanding and I still cannot believe how much we have learned in that time! As a non-native speaker I have seen different teaching approach and I can say that Dan and Kenny are the best instructors I have seen. They both know what they do and why they do it! Thank you again!
