I chose to move to Prague because The Language House came highly recommended and was the most comprehensive course I could find. I was really just looking for a way to move abroad. I have to say, the course exceeded all my expectations and fully set me up to be able to live and work in this country! Not only do they provide extensive methodology training and real teaching practice, they also create an environment of fun and inclusivity. There are tours, dinners, and drinks with the group and you can have the exact level of involvement you prefer. You will not have time for daily sightseeing but that is why it is an intensive course, every minute contains valuable information that will ensure your success as a teacher. If you are committed to learning the material, preparing lessons to the best of your ability, and studying grammar you will have no problem. Each staff member is incredibly interesting and kind, most are hilarious. The resources after the course are incredibly helpful as well. There is a huge alumni network where people daily pass on apartments, jobs, and event recommendations. You can access The Language House at any time for printing or teaching material. AND they assist with the entire visa process. I feel very lucky to be a part of this community and to have had this experience!!
