The ICAL TEFL online course truly met my expectations. This was my first experience on doing an online course and I am very pleased with the results. The course content was practical and real-life. The administrative support was very good, they always responded promptly to all my inquiries. I found the most beneficial support I encountered was my tutor. She was knowledgeable, experienced and very professional throughout our interaction. I would definitely recommend this course.

I really enjoyed the ICAL course, it was challenging and gave me a lot of nice ideas for my teaching, I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in teaching! My tutor was very helpful too, trying to get the most of me for each assignment and forcing me to be more and more creative to be able to provide nice and relevant course to my students. Many thanks to ICAL!

Studying the ICAL TEFL course is most definitely worthwhile;I really enjoyed the coverage of the modules, i thought they were well planned and comprehensive.It is a challenging course but the teaching methods are set out in such a unique way that you feel more inspired and confident in yourself to take on the challenge.I thought my tutor was very helpful in his guidance.He was very clear when he had a point of view he wanted to convey.Now that i have completed the course, i know i have all the tools i need to get into the classroom and give my students the best English learning experience thanks to ICAL.

I am currently not a teacher and did not know what to expect from this course. Although I am a native teacher, I found this course to be eye opening. It challenged be in my knowledge of the English Language. But more importantly, it gave me a lot of good ideas on how to approach communicating my knowledge of the language to others. My tutor was tremendous with her well placed and well described comments of my work. I totally recommend this to anyone who is interested in spreading the English Language to others.

Although I had already been an English teacher for two years, I found this course invaluable. I immediately put what I learned to use and improved both my preparation and in-class teaching methodologies. I took this course while working a full-time job and was able to complete it in under six months.

The reading materials were thorough and the feedback insightful.

I have already recommended this course to several people interested in improving their TEFL/TESOL skills and will continue to recommend it to those who ask me.

Also, ICAL has a wonderful website which includes a complete grammar guide, activities page, a wikipage and student forum that I still visit on a regular basis, as well as an online newsletter.

I have nothing but good things to say about the course, the teacher, and my gained knowledge. I was actually very surprised at the breadth and depth of the course! I thought it would be some easy online BS course. How I was mistaken! It is a real course on the same level as one of my college courses. You do reading, they quiz you on comprehension, then you do a big homework exam to thoroughly test you. That compromises one lesson.

There were five lessons total. One of my favorite parts of this course is that you can work at your own pace. I stretched out my five lessons over 3 to 4 months because I was busy working and traveling. But if one really buckled down and tried to complete it as fast as possible, it could probably be completed in 3 weeks.

The content and style of the course was very practical. That practicality I surmise will be most helpful in the field. I found my teacher/tutor to be pleasant, timely, and fully capable. She made cogent points and insightful comments on my work.

I put down three stars for job placement and resources; however, it really should be an incomplete because I haven’t had need or tried to make use of either.

Hope this helps. Overall, I recommend ICAL.

I just completed the ICAL online TEFL course. I found the coursework to be very straight forward. I completed the course in approximately 3.5 months. I especially appreciated the opportunity to work at my own pace. In addition, the tutor that I worked with was exceptional. She corrected all of my exams in a timely fashion and provided me with very useful feedback. She was a delight to work with. I am already applying what I learned in my new job! I highly recommend the course.

I started the ICAL Online TEFL Training course over four years ago. I was impressed by the structure and organization of the course. I found the modules very challenging. Unfortunately, I had already started teaching in Budapest, Hungary and I didn’t have the time. About four months ago, I decided to continue the course. Even though I could find work without the certificate, I felt it would enhance the confidence of my current and future employers. Now that I’ve had a lot more experience teaching, I find this course even more valuable. Unlike before, I have a better understanding the teaching approaches mentioned in the course documentation. All of the examples given, I have witnessed or experienced firsthand. The pedagogical approach is sound and applicable in a variety of teaching situations. I must also express how helpful the administration was in making my learning process smooth. They responded to my inquiries and assignments promptly and with sincerity. My tutor, not only reviewed my assignments, but offered insightful comments I can use later. Overall I will recommend this course to anyone who would like to have a positive learning experience. Thank-you ICAL! I wish you all the best.

I recently completed the ICAL Online TEFL Training course and I would highly recommend the course to anyone interested in pursuing an online course of study. It was very convenient to be able to work at my own pace and the guidance and instruction I received from my tutor helped me to move through the course smoothly and efficiently. I learned a lot and I am looking forward to putting this new knowledge into practice.

I recently finished this course. I would recommend it because it’s helped me develop confidence in myself as a prospective EFL teacher. The course modules were interesting, engaging and accessible, and the tutor support was very good. The assignments were pretty challenging but worthwhile and rewarding. My tutor provided me with lots of helpful comments and information, and always responded to my emails and enquiries pretty quickly.

I will soon be moving to Korea to start my new vocation as EFL teacher. I can’t wait! My thanks go to ICAL, and particularly to my tutor Jay, for providing an enjoyable and rewarding introduction to the world of TEFL.
