I just graduated from ICAL online TEFL course and I enjoyed my course all the way through. I loved working with my tutor and he was so helpful and I learned a lot from him. I will definitely take othe courses there.

I needed to get a TEFL cert as quickly as possible or lose my job here. I chose the ICAL course because one of the other teachers here took it last year. I was really pleased with it. My teacher helped me through the material as fast as I could go and I got the cert in 4 weeks. And now I’m still in my job! Thanks Pete and ICAL!!!

I really enjoyed the course very much! It’s informative and challenging, and really makes you think creatively about how to conduct a lesson… My tutor is really helpful and encouraging, and gave me a lot of advice on how to proceed with getting a job after the course… I will definitely recommend this course to my friends! 🙂

The ICAL course is very challenging and very enriching learning experience. In line with the course syllabus, the topics are well planned and presented. And the assignments are very challenging that they require us to really think and apply what we’ve learned from the modules exhausting our available resources and those found in different websites. Due to the personal business venture which I am still into, I stopped English teaching for more than 2 years. But getting an ICAL certificate and the invaluable teaching techniques that I learned, I can say I am ready to plunge into teaching again with greater confidence and enthusiasm. Thank you very much ICAL!

Choosing to do my TEFL training through ICAL was a good decision. The tutor was very helpful and professional at all times, and always put so much effort into assessing my assignments in good time and with plenty of feedback. The admin team were also very good at assisting me whenever I had any queries. The course itself was extremely interesting and I learned i great deal of invaluable skills. The response time was excellent throughout the course. The online web-interface was very user-friendly and downloading course materials was simple. I would definitely recommend ICAL to anyone wishing to obtain quality TEFL training.

I did the TEFL course with Teaching Practice. The feedback I got from my tutor was absolutely excellent and I can’t thank him enough for that. I really felt like I went from a newbie to a very competant teacher and my students really noticed the difference too! I got detailed notes on what I was doing right and what I was doing wrong with plenty of ideas and suggestions on how to make my teaching better and I really can’t stress highly enough how my teaching has changed for the better since I began the course!

The modules, assignments and tutor feedback were helpful, but I think one of the most useful things was the recommended reading list given in the first module. Some of the assignments require thought and information outside of what you can find in the module, so this forces students to search for other resources — a skill I will no doubt appreciate when I start teaching.

This has been a challenging and informative course! I would highly recommend it. I’m excited to say that I have a job teaching English in China. I am so glad that I was able to complete this course before I started my job. I definitely feel more prepared to teach. My tutor, Larry, gave me great advice and ideas that I can’t wait to use in my classroom! Getting certified through ICAL was a great decision. I would have never been able to finish the course (especially so quickly) without the wonderful support and resources that I had, so I want to say thanks to everyone who supported me!

I am feeling quite proud of myself! I worked very hard for my certificate. The ICAL course was really a challenge, and with each module I gained more understanding and insight about issues specifically related to teaching non-English speaking students. My tutor’s comments and suggestions were especially helpful. He responded in detail, to my assignments, clarifying where I might need more help and offering praise when deserved. The online resources were and are an added bonus. I would definitely recommend ICAL to others seeking their TESL/TEFL certificate.

I have no immediate plans to teach, although I’d love the chance to do so. I will be checking into turning all the college credits I’ve stacked up over the years into an actual degree, so that I have a better chance of using my TESL/TEFL certificate.

I have just completed the ICAL course and am delighted to have succeeded on a journey that was both challenging and thought-provoking. Sometimes there was little course content to guide you, but with much thought and a little research the ‘impossible’ became not only ‘do-able’ but self-satisfying as another mountain was conquered. I am happy I chose this course which encourages independence in learning, yet covers all the bases thoroughly, and provides sufficient information to point you in the right direction. This approach models real life, and in this ICAL is unique.
