Description

OnTESOL was developed by Coventry House International, the only school in North America that offers Trinity CertTESOL courses, to provide students with the flexibility of taking an internationally recognized TESOL/TEFL course online.

I have really enjoyed the course which was enlightening and challenging. It has given me a better insight to my teaching experience. I found the 250-hour course online extremely well-structured. The theory in the three modules was put into practice by the assignments and by the lesson plans which were thoroughly commented by the tutor. Her feedback was always prompt and very constructive. The whole staff is always there to help whatever your needs are. I am so glad I have taken this course. I strongly recommend it!

The ONTESOL 100 hour course is very detailed and informative to bring an ESL teacher up to a competent and well prepared instructor.

I found the material to be extremely organised with the right flow for learning. Grammer and pronounciation, with the associated phonics, was a good foundation for the upcoming lesson plans. I expecially liked the reading and clasroom management sections, where I’m able to apply them into my future role as an ESL teacher.

Preparing the assignments, including the lesson plans, gave me a good grasp of the material studied for practical applications. It balanced the course from studies to practical use of all subject matter.

I found my tutor, Ainley, to be a strong instructor with a great knowledge of the material and personal experiences as an ESL teacher. She was able to give me valuable insight for approaching the assignments and just as important, presenting the lessons to future students.

I found ONTESOL delivered well above what they advertise and I was very impressed and satisfied with the outcome. The ONTESOL organisation is professional and timely, so the pace of the course met my requirements. I highly recommend ONTESOL as a source for obtaining a TESOL certification and the training needed to meet requirements and skill sets for being an ESL teacher.

I took the 100 hour course in order to fulfill my qualification requirements for my job in South Korea.

This… this is simply a rock-solid program. The course material is extremely thorough, the feedback was very fast (within 24 hours) and also greatly helpful. I feel like I am already running out of positive adjectives to describe how fantastic ONTESOL is. But remember, you’ve got to put the work in!

All in all, if you want a reliable, fairly priced, exceptional introduction into the world of ESL… look no further than ONTESOL.

This was the first time I’d taken an online course, and I have to say I was very impressed. The three sections are very well thought out and the material is extensive. Before taking the course I was completely unsure of myself as a teacher of foreign languages. Afterwards, I felt confident and prepared to start teaching English in Korea. I think the practicum part was probably the most useful to me. For sure the online portion of the course was useful and I still refer back to the material today. For any first time teachers though, the hardest part is just getting up in front of people and feeling relaxed enough that the students feel relaxed and can learn. That is what the practicum portion of this course gave me – the ability to feel comfortable in front of the class.

This class has everything needed to make you into a good teacher, take it seriously and accept the constructive criticism with an open mind and you will be able to take the materials and lessons with you no matter where you go.

Being educated in English immersion and having spoken English through most of my life, I never knew I had so much to learn until I took the Ontesol Course.

The good old English grammar has changed since the last time I was at school and I was left dumbfounded of the amount of work I had to do. I am so glad I did, because within weeks of starting the course I found a job as an ESL teacher. I had a wonderful tutor who was sincere, knowledgeable and patient with me. He replied in no time and was very much interested in my lesson plans.

Oh yes, those lesson plans are amazing, it is not possible not to learn if you do those plans right. I am implementing them in my class every time and I get so many positive remarks from the management as well as from my students. Highly recommended course.

The course was challenging and the mentoring was excellent. I thought

that I had a good grasp of the English language. I was surprised to

learn how little I knew. I am much more confident now. The materials

will certainly come in handy when I need to teach a grammar point or

any other language skill. I would recommend this course to anyone

needing TEFL certification.

This online course is an excellent introduction to the world of TESOL teaching. The instructors took the time, through written feedback, to explain each step of the lesson planning and implementation process. The turn around time for assignments was quick which allows students to continue their readings and other work at a steady pace.

I strongly recommend both the TESOL and TEYL courses.

When I first thought about taking an online TESOL class, I was swamped by all the different companies. I decided to go with ONTESOL after reading the reviews on this site and I am glad I did. The program has given me the basics needed to succeed in an ESL classroom. My tutor was very helpful with feedback on my assignments and has helped me improve to a higher level. I leave for South Korea in two weeks, thank you ONTESOL!

The 100-hour online TESOL course from Ontesol was exactly what I was looking for in terms of curriculum, instructor support, and value. The course has a great balance between theory and production. The grammar and phonology module provided great, in-depth review, and the methodology module gave me the opportunity to put what I was learning into practice by writing actual lesson plans. My tutor was very thorough and enthusiastic in his feedback, and answered my e-mails quickly. Having completed the course, I feel much more confident in my abilities to plan lessons and work with my students.

I started the course without much idea on how it it was going to be. But when I saw the materials, I said to myself, “This gonna be like real!” I chose OnTesol as I felt and understood from the start that it is something good. Modular questions or assignments or tasks that led to self-awareness for better understanding of what you want when you are in a class or when you have your own class.

The teachers are not simply commenting on assignments but they really give options on how to correct them. You can really feel that you are connected with your tutors and that will give you much delight. You will not mind when you are corrected because by these corrections you will come up with a better work.

I am very glad to have taken OnTesol TESOL and TEYL courses and I know I will feel so great and proud once our postman bring in my certificates.

So, without any doubt, I strongly recommend OnTesol TESOL and TEYL studies as part of your teaching ambition.
