TEFL Worldwide Prague offers a 4-week internationally recognised and accredited TEFL course in the enchanting city of Prague.

Our 130-hour TEFL course provides an excellent insight into TEFL approaches and methods, as well as 6 to 8 hours of hands-on teaching practice in real classrooms. The teaching practice during the TEFL course will give you a solid foundation when beginning your first job teaching English abroad.

We will support you before, during and after the course and help you find a teaching job after graduating. You can stay and teach in Prague or teach all over the world. Graduates usually find work 1-2 weeks after the course. We are part of a large language school in Prague, so many graduates come and work for us straight after the course.

Taking this course was one of the greatest decisions I’ve ever made! From the teachers to the resources, from the students to my fellow trainees, I couldn’t recommend this course more. I think so highly of the core teacher trainers, Kenny and Adrienne, that I would consider them to be one of the key distinguishing features between this course and others like it. The entire school supports you every step of the way, whether you need help with lesson planning, finding housing, or interviewing tips. TEFL Worldwide was the best experience for me because of the employees and how passionate they are about turning out stellar TEFL teachers. If you’re considering doing this course, do it! You won’t regret it!

I did the Tefl Worldwide program in winter of 2010 and it was great! it is definitely an intense 4 weeks, but you learn so much! The main instructor is awesome and all of his teaching methods really help you to become a confident teacher. I met great people from all over the world and now live with 3 girls from my program! I got hired at one of the largest local language schools here in Prague before I even finished the course. They staff at TEFL Worldwide helped me to prepare for the interview with the school and I got hired on the spot. I would recommend this course to anyone who is looking for an exciting and new opportunity to work and live abroad. If you have any questions, let me know! I graduated in July of 2015. The whole experience was a wonderful one! The teachers are so very helpful in all aspects whether it be about teaching or just navigating your way throught town. The course itself was a lot of info but as long as you’re willing to put in the effort there’s no reason you shouldn’t be able to pass. They were very detailed in their feedback and teachings to help you make the most out of your lesson and always made themselves available if you needed extrad help. If your thinking about becoming TEFL certified, hands-down this is where you need to be. They make it a fun, challenging, and safe expirience!

TEFL Worldwide Prague was on of the best classes I’ve ever taken. The instructors made all of the lessons fun, interesting, interactive and relevant. The communication prior to arriving in Prague was excellent, helpful and very prompt. I took the course in 2015 and they are still available if I need references or help with anything. I’m currently teaching in Japan and the knowledge gained from this course has helped me in so many ways. On top of everything, Prague is one of the most magical cities in the world with affordable food and delicious beer. I highly recommend this course!

Dawwwwwg. Take this class if you want to escape that boring life at home. #1 Prague is most likely better than the city that you are in right now. #2 The class teaches you how to teach aswell as other very valuable life skills. #3 The teachers are great, shoutout to Kenny and Adrienne (very good at their jobs). #4 You get to meet crazy people in your class #5 The certificate that you get at the end is a prized possession. It never goes bad. The world has a million doors, your college degree opens a few. The Tefl certificate is the Master Key. Just take the class fool and jangle those keys around the world.

P.s The info post-graduation might be just as important as the info pre-graduation.

I graduated from the program in May 2016, and couldn’t be any happier about my experience. Tereza’s helpfulness was incredibly encouraging. I had so many questions, and Tereza was sure to address them all with lengthy and careful responses. This is, in part, what led me to give the program a chance.

The program is intensive, as it packs a lot of information into 1 month, but if you’re willing to work hard (and renounce your procrastination habits), it’s totally doable. You learn so much! Little did I know there were so many things to being a TEFL teacher. Content of the course covers many different, useful topics, including techniques and tips on how to teach non-English speakers.

I specially liked the opportunity to teach real, Czech students of all proficiency levels. That was good practice, and helped boost my confidence. In regards to job placement, there are many opportunities. They also provide you with a Google Drive link, full of information on obtaining a job, and contact numbers for different English schools around the world! It doesn’t get any better than that.

Although I wasn’t able to stay in Prague for personal reasons, some of my classmates are currently living in Prague (and a few in Asia), gainfully employed.

Overall, I’m happy about the experience. All members of the staff are knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. Money well spent, that’s for sure.

I came into TEFL as an inexperienced pupil and left as a confident teacher thanks to all the support and guidance of my teachers Kenny, Adrienne, and Andrew. They were so supportive in not only teaching methodology, but also in regards to housing, finding a job, preparing my CV, and more. They’ve also maintained a tight network of alumni who share tips, job postings, and of course, friendship.

Perhaps the most valuable asset are the connections that TEFL Worldwide and its alumni have not only in Prague, but all over the world. They do a great job of putting people in touch with job opportunities and lessons with private students. They have truly made my time here in Prague so much easier.

Enrolling for this program was the beginning of a great adventure abroad, the one I always dreamed of. The course is intense but very rewarding and gives you the necessary confidence and experience to pursue a teaching career. I am so proud of being a graduate of TEFL Worldwide Prague.

The staff offers guidance and support not only during the course but also after the course is over. The teachers are passionate about their work and always ready to help. Great experience, I would do it again.

I had a great learning experience with TEFL Worldwide in Prague. They were able to give me lots of helpful teaching experience as well as helpful knowledge about getting jobs in different counties. The program allowed for me to get lots of first hand practice teaching Czech students which made me feel more confident as a teacher, and by graduation I felt prepared for my first job! All the staff was extremely helpful and welcoming! This is a great program that will offer continued support in your TEFL career!

I took part in the TEFL Worldwide Prague course in 2015 and it was a tremendous experience overall. Most impressive was the dedication of the trainers on staff – showing competency and constantly modeling the type of teaching we’d be graduating into after obtaining the certificate. No online course can mimic what this organization has to offer, so it is well worth the small investment and time to utilize this opportunity in person.

Most important was the actual teaching time we were engaged in. Within the first few days, all participants were up in front of a small group of locals (who knew we were training, so no added pressure), presenting the TEFL material and getting invaluable practice time.

Nothing but good things from my vantage point. If I had to do it over again, I would choose TEFL Worldwide Prague in a heartbeat. Not to mention, the city of Prague is one you’ll never forget visiting.
