TEFL Worldwide Prague offers a 4-week internationally recognised and accredited TEFL course in the enchanting city of Prague.

Our 130-hour TEFL course provides an excellent insight into TEFL approaches and methods, as well as 6 to 8 hours of hands-on teaching practice in real classrooms. The teaching practice during the TEFL course will give you a solid foundation when beginning your first job teaching English abroad.

We will support you before, during and after the course and help you find a teaching job after graduating. You can stay and teach in Prague or teach all over the world. Graduates usually find work 1-2 weeks after the course. We are part of a large language school in Prague, so many graduates come and work for us straight after the course.

I was very happy with my experience at TEFL Worldwide Prague. The course was more challenging than I thought that it would be, which made it even more worth it. I learned much more than I originally thought that I would and I feel more than prepared to be able to teach students of all ages throughout the world. After graduation, I moved to Vietnam on a whim and was able to use what I learned in the course to set up 6 interviews and receive 6 job offers in my first 4 days. I appreciate how helpful everyone at TEFL Worldwide Prague was during the course and take comfort in knowing that they will always be there to help me or give me advice in the future.

I completed the TEFL course during August of 2016. While the course was intense and challenging, it was EXTREMELY rewarding and I got so much out of it. First, I came into the experience with a pretty big fear of public speaking, which I was able to start to overcome during the month. But besides that, the content and practice teaching that were provided were so helpful. I feel like I can walk into basically any classroom, with young children to adults who are at a variety of language levels, and I can put together a solid lesson for them. It’s incredibly rewarding to feel so competent in something that I had zero experience with before. The course was amazing, I highly recommend it!

I was blown away by the quality of instruction and competency of the TEFL Worldwide Prague staff. Not only do the instructors care about their students and enthusiastically teach them quality material everyday, the staff are more than helpful with every aspect of an expat’s life in a new city. TEFL Worldwide helped me find a flat, start my visa process, and find a job (4 interviews and 4 job offers within the first 5 days after graduation).

Above all that, it was so incredible to see how extensive and close the TEFL Worldwide Prague alumni network is. Within two weeks of being in Prague, I had met a ton of TEFL alumni living and working here. In addition to the staff, they helped me with anything and everything I needed – and they’re great company.

I was never bored of the course material. Everything I learned was valuable and useful outside of the course. As a new teacher, I walked into my first lesson with my new job feeling more confident than I ever thought I would because of TEFL Worldwide Prague.

I would recommend this course to any aspiring English teachers and world travelers.

What an amazing experience! I can honestly say this was the hardest course I’ve ever taken, but it completely prepared me for teaching English as a foreign language. TEFL Worldwide Prague is accredited for a reason!

I was skeptical about learning how to teach English as a foreign language in just one months time. Those thoughts were washed away after the first week when I realized just how much I could learn at one time. The instructors waste no time, and every minute of the lessons count.It was hard, really time consuming, but so informational and so worth it.

The trainers/instructors and observers were all excellent and always helpful. Complete professionals in their field. The administrative staff was very helpful as well. Not only do they train you for teaching English but they also help prepare you for life after… Visas, housing, job hunts, etc…

I completed the July session this year, and I am already working at a job I love!

Aside from the course, Prague itself is awesome! So glad I took the leap and chose TEFL Worldwide Prague to start my overseas teaching adventure!

With only a few months left of college and no clue what I wanted to do besides travel, I decided to teach English. I had no teaching background, and my degrees were completely unrelated. From Day 1, I loved this program. Completing so much material in four weeks was the most challenging thing I have ever done, but also one of the most rewarding. I went from feeling like I could never be a competent teacher to feeling confident in my abilities more each day. I have just recently begun my first job at a company in Beijing, and I am grateful to TEFL Worldwide for their help starting this new chapter of my life.

I could not be more thrilled with my decision to complete my TEFL certification with TEFL Prague Worldwide. The experience exceeded my expectations in absolutely everyway. The course was thorough and offered an in depth look at every aspect of the English language. The instructors at TEFL Worldwide are some of the best teachers I’ve ever had. They went above and beyond to answer my questions, help me with lesson planning, and make sure I was ready to enter the workforce. The office staff was also super friendly and welcoming. They made the transition to living overseas absolutely seamless.

When I did graduate, I had schools from all over the Czech Republic contacting me and begging me to apply. Within 72 hours of graduation, I had 6 very competitive job offers. The companies explicitly said they wanted graduates from TEFL Worldwide. When I went to interviews, I was confident in my skills and abilities. It was such a fun and smooth process because of the training and support I received in the program.

The course is no doubt challenging–perhaps the Ivy League of TEFL–but I can proudly say I am a qualified English teacher because I graduated this program. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

That’s where your international adventure starts! It was profound learning and tough studying at times, but couldn’t be more fruitful and useful. Before I came to the course, I had already been teaching for years, but I still found a lot of interesting information and approaches. All the teachers are very professional and obviously enjoy what they are doing here. Although the course is not an easy thing to complete, they provide you with wonderful assistance all the time and happened to be very willing to help and advise. For those who already are teaching, it will be very useful anyways and for me personally it was exciting to meet such high standard instructors and hear their reviews and feedback.

What is also outstanding about this school is the alumni community we have now. Even after you have finished, you still remain an important part of the team and can always be in touch with any of your peers or teachers. Moreover, the support to find a future job anywhere in the world is great! I am now teaching in China and I got here with the help of a former student from TEFL Worldwide Prague who actually finished it months before me.

So, guys! It is definitely the choice! But be ready to work to become better and more successful!

I attended TEFL Worldwide Prague in September 2015, and even after a year later, I can still say that I owe my skills and confidence as a teacher to this program. I had no prior experience in teaching, and TEFL Worldwide Prague fully prepared me for teaching English as a foreign language. I have no regrets with choosing this as my TEFL training program. They throw you right into teaching, which is intimidating at first, but it really gives you the best experience and you learn quickly how to manage a classroom.The instructors were brilliant, and taught us everything we would need to know. I still use the instruction and guidance I received from my instructors when I am planning lessons. They were also incredibly helpful, and always available to lend a helping hand if you needed it. Even though it was an intense month, I and my fellow classmates look back upon it with fondness. Plus, they have an amazing network of alumni and support to help you with everything and anything after becoming certified. It made my transition living and working abroad much easier. I highly recommend this course!

Didn’t think I’d be ready to do what I do now after just a month of teaching. But, somehow, here I am, and it wouldn’t have been possible if not for the in-depth, comprehensive, stress-cake that was these four weeks. From present simple to business English, no area is left untouched, and you’ll be grateful for the time spent on lesson-planning.

So, in other words: 11/10, two thumbs up, certified fresh on rotten tomatoes score

It’s not like I can compare this to any other course because I obviously only took one, but I must say I couldn’t have gone with a better choice. Everything was on point! Kenny and Adrienne were amazing instructors. Their brilliance and wisdom just rubbed off on you. The program as a whole was so well organized and thought out. Everything you did had a purpose and not a second was wasted. They provided you with all of the resources you would need to thrive in the field. If you do the work that’s expected of you, you will succeed and have several options for employment. I would definitely recommend this one over all of the others 🙂
