TEFL Worldwide Prague offers a 4-week internationally recognised and accredited TEFL course in the enchanting city of Prague.

Our 130-hour TEFL course provides an excellent insight into TEFL approaches and methods, as well as 6 to 8 hours of hands-on teaching practice in real classrooms. The teaching practice during the TEFL course will give you a solid foundation when beginning your first job teaching English abroad.

We will support you before, during and after the course and help you find a teaching job after graduating. You can stay and teach in Prague or teach all over the world. Graduates usually find work 1-2 weeks after the course. We are part of a large language school in Prague, so many graduates come and work for us straight after the course.

I completed the TEFL Worldwide Prague program this past July and it was an experience I’ll never forget! The instructors were well-prepared and always willing to help. Although they taught a lot of material in a short amount of time it’s not too overwhelming, because what you learn is used the next day for teaching. I surprised myself when it came to teaching English because this program uses a learn-by-doing method which is truly the best way to feel prepared to teach! Every lesson was followed by an excellent feedback session with one of the staff members for improving the next lesson. Not only are the staff members friendly and helpful, but the ladies at the front desk are also very sweet and willing to answer any questions. The course also prepares you for housing and job interviews towards the end so students have a fairly smooth transition into the TEFL world when the course is over. This certification opens so many doors for jobs in different countries so TEFL Worldwide Prague is well worth the money and a great place to start your journey!

Hello all! I took the TEFL Worldwide Prague course in July 2016 and it was a very interesting experience. Coming from zero teaching experience and barely any Czech language skills, the course prepares you for teaching English as a foreign language completely. The work was demanding and leaves little time for leisure but the certificate you receive is good for life and gives you a new career. You teach real Czech students with real lesson plans that they guide you to make. It’s the real deal. You will feel comfortable after your course. The only drawback was the brief overview of teaching children, which is the path I decided to take. They cover all the basics for young learners though. With the other skills you are taught, teaching children simply requires more patience and less intensive planning! Take the course, be prepared to work, reap the benefits.

Master teachers, intense learning, incredible help and support, congenial classmates, varied teaching experiences and evaluations—TEFL Worldwide Prague will give you all of these. If I had the money I would buy them a larger building, but even with the space constraints the program works because of the staff and teachers. Not being computer savvy, I asked for and received help from fellow students and, particularly, Tereza. This is not a vacation; it’s more like a graduate seminar in four weeks, but I found it extremely practical, challenging, energizing, and definitely worthwhile. Although I have taught for years, I know I am a better teacher because of my Prague experience.

I went to TEFL last September 2015. I admit, the course was a lot more intense than I had anticipated but in a good way. They TRULY DO PREPARE you for a career in teaching English to others. The program is amazing and with wonderful instructors.

Although I am older than those just coming out of college and changed careers later in life—I know I made the right decision going here. TEFL life has endless opportunities and it has made my nomadic life possible. I chose to teach online and now I teach BOTH English and Spanish to students out of the comfort of my home that is constantly changing.

If you are prepared to work hard, have a life that is outside the box, and mingle with other cultures—-this is an excellent fit for you.

As if that was not enough—you get to do it ALL IN PRAGUE. A most beautiful, majestic, and enchanting city. Do not hesitate to choose this school.

TEFL Worldwide is a quality course. They take the subject matter seriously. This is not a course you can coast through! Highly recommended for rigorous training, top-notch trainers, and helpful staff. It was also a blast!

TEFL Worldwide Prague is the perfect starting point in an EFL teaching career. The trainers are VERY well prepared for their clases with materials and also guide students when they ask questions.

The students are exposed to all levels of english speakers, while teaching locals (from near zero to highly fluent). The trainers are always available to answer any questions, while the students prepare the lesson plans. Also, the school has plenty of resources available.

Taking the TEFL Worldwide Prague course was by far the best decision I’ve ever made. I graduated from TEFL January 2016. The course itself was amazing. I met some amazing people and had an fantastic time. The course was definitely difficult and you will feel challenged at times but it so all completely worth it. I felt completely comfortable to interview for jobs and to teach after taking the course. The instructors are incredible and they really care about your success during and after you take the course. They set up a job fair on the last day of classes which was extremely helpful in finding work in Prague. I was hired by one of the schools from the job fair the Monday following the completion of the course. I am now living in China and teaching here. I was nervous about my interview and reached out to a few instructors and again they did not hesitate to help in any way they could. It is a fantastic school and I would recommend it to anyone. If you choose TEFL Worldwide Prague you will not regret it!

Hello! I graduated from TWWP in the September 2015 course. Before I moved abroad, I was stuck in a job that satisfied, but didn’t thrill me. If you’re like me, you need to stay moving and have fun. I looked for a way to use my skills and passion for teaching while traveling. TEFL Worldwide was the best choice I could have made. I learned countless skills to use in my classroom and made great connections, not only friends and soon-to-be colleagues, but through the course instructors, Kenny and Adrienne. They continue to help after the course. Along with the other staff and students Learning English in the school, Kenny and Adrienne helped me and my other coursemate’s learn as much as we could during the jammed packed month of the course. It was a very challenging month, but I came out of the course with great friends and a fire-powered passion for teaching English. I had no trouble finding employment after the course, and I now work in an International School in Prague teaching children. Teaching English helps me have a fun career all while enabling me to travel on the weekends and holidays. Thanks Tefl Worldwide for giving me the world.

I took the course in May 2016 and I love it ! Of course it was hard and the quantity of work was massive but the teacher were great, alway available for any kind of question, as well the course content was perfect and prepared me well for the real life ! I found a job literally 4 days after graduation, and thanks to my teachers I felt ready and confident !

I was taught during my business career that when it came to employee/ customer reviews I should throw out all the reviews that gave the highest rating in each category and the lowest rating in each category and just focus on the rest. So, I really didn’t want to go 5 star in every category, but it was the only way to be completely truthful!

I can’t think of anything I would change about my experience with TEFL Worldwide, the education I received, the friends I made or the support they have given since the completion of the course.

I moved to Prague on my 55th birthday in July of 2012. My last child had just finish school and to ward off a serious case of empty nest syndrome I needed to make some changes. My class was August 2012, so I am celebrating the beginning of my 5th year in Europe. The first three were spent in Prague and because of a job offer I couldn’t refuse I moved to Germany a year ago.

Moving to Prague and attending TEFL Worldwide is the best decision I could have made.
