TEFL Worldwide Prague offers a 4-week internationally recognised and accredited TEFL course in the enchanting city of Prague.

Our 130-hour TEFL course provides an excellent insight into TEFL approaches and methods, as well as 6 to 8 hours of hands-on teaching practice in real classrooms. The teaching practice during the TEFL course will give you a solid foundation when beginning your first job teaching English abroad.

We will support you before, during and after the course and help you find a teaching job after graduating. You can stay and teach in Prague or teach all over the world. Graduates usually find work 1-2 weeks after the course. We are part of a large language school in Prague, so many graduates come and work for us straight after the course.

I completed the TEFL Worldwide course in Prague, May 2015. Unforgettable, challenging and great hide-out taverns to decompress. The merit of any course boils down to instruction, and the two trainers made each class colorful and efficient, burying inside basic presentations or practice activities a ton of information. Kenny is excellent and Dan as well.

With the kindest patience, they critique your live teaching and provide valuable feedback which one is wise to instantly absorb.

And of course, there’s Prague, the deadliest city to enjoy top-tier Pilsners and ales in medieval-esque taverns.

I highly recommend the course for college graduates and more seasoned folk eager to jump into a new life.

I completed the December 2015 course at TEFL Worldwide Prague. It was an amazing experience from the beginning to the end. The school is supportive in every way, from the great housing, to the proximity to the school, and the staff was so helpful. The instructors are talented and excited to teach, and the classes are extremely helpful in preparing you for a TEFL position. Kenny and Adrienne are available every day for consultation and the secretaries will aid you in nearly any process along the way, from housing after the class, the visa process, trips outside Prague, or things to do in the city. I would recommend this course to anyone that is willing to accept the challenge and has the mettle to overcome obstacles that will be an everyday occurrence in the actual job. Contact the school with any questions you have and they will quickly respond. I hope you try TEFL Worldwide Prague!

A great course that provides a great introduction to teaching English as a foreign language. I find myself referring to the teaching methods taught often while teaching here in Vietnam.

This course provides you with the skills and knowledge to become the best teacher you can possibly be. The course includes a wide range of opportunities to teach all ages, all levels, small groups, classes and individual one to one. This gives you the best start in becoming an English teacher as you have a wide range of practice to apply for diverse jobs for the schools/ students requirements. The course is intense and 100% attendance is necessary. The tutors and staff are always willing to help with lesson planning, assignments or simply for a chat. I feel I have been given the best practice and guidance to become an English teacher thanks to everyone at Prague TEFL worldwide. I also feel that the support doesn’t stop there. If i require any further assistance the tutors are there and happy to help.

I have found this course to be a good opportunity to practice teaching with real students. Staff and teachers employed by the school have been very helpful when asked for guidance. I must say that the course was very intensive and required a lot of work outside of class hours. I would advice the school to provide better guidelines for attendees how to print properly or how to use MS Word correctly as their printers will be tortured by people who have never used MS Word or a printer before. Especially when people worked with WORD templates for class design and content which contained additional self expanding tables that created additional pages which were printed as blank without any major use and ended up as scrap paper. Perhaps a cost saving idea perhaps I just want to save the lives of innocent printers and perhaps it could be ignored but still some natural resources still have value in the world of today so I believe that any care and awareness in this area will save some of these resources for future generations : ). All in all good course. Prague is a fun place to visit. I hope to return one day for a longer period of time. Thanks a lot TEFLPragueWorldWide for your efforts.

If you’re looking for change of pace or to start a new path this course is definitely for you. You definitely get what you pay for. From day one the trainers, Kenny and Adrienne, provide valuable lessons and insight into the TEFL world. Combined, their experience is invaluable and they are ALWAYS willing to lend a hand (even after the course!). Just tonight, Adrienne was providing feedback on my lesson plan at 7:30pm so I can submit it to my potential employers first thing in the morning. The instructors go above and beyond to ensure that everyone can be successful in the course and in the TEFL job market, if they want to.

This course is not a joke. It’s intensive and fast paced with teaching practice starting on Day Two! For those of you out there comparing programs, the instruction at TEFL Worldwide is equivalent to that of the CELTA programs and is even accredited by an outside accreditation body (IatQuo). Already many of my classmates have found jobs and housing in Prague and we haven’t even been out of the course for a week. Others, like myself, are in the process of applying for positions outside of the Czech Republic and, as promised, the staff at TEFL Worldwide are more than willing to lend a hand through job postings, recommendations, lesson plan assistance, and networking with Alums.

Not only is the program great for people looking to travel and work abroad as a teacher, it’s great for networking and making friends. I’ve met some great, like minded people during the course who I hope will be lifelong friends. If you’re looking for a way to fund your travel habits or simply a change of career, give TEFL Worldwide a shot. 🙂

This is an intense but excellent course. It is very demanding in terms of time and energy. It is total immersion in the practice of teaching English as a foreign language. Day one, welcome, you will be teaching day 2…Real students, real teaching, great immersion. Excellent class content and methodology.

It’s an excellent course, with excellent, knowledgeable and experienced instructors. They are truly models to emulate.

The only criticism I can provide, which may be useful to future students, is in addition to the workload and the obvious draw of exploring Prague, a significant impediment to sleep is the total lack of curtains or air-conditioning (during multiple heat waves) in the sleeping quarters provided (I attended in July). This may not be too big of a deal in the winter, but in the summer, when the sun sets about 11pm and starts rising before 5am, and the average daily temperature is approaching 100F, it can be TOUGH to sleep! Especially if your room is above a beer garden and restaurant. The sleep deprivation can be grueling.

Heads up! But a fantastic course, and everyone I went to school with who has looked for a job teaching has found one!

This course is worth every minute! If you are like me a couple of months ago sitting there and wondering whether to go for it, think no more and press the button to say yes!! For sure I’m not going to lie, it was a very intensive course and it was one of the most difficult months of my life but yet one of the most rewarding! I learnt so much from both Kenny and Adrienne, they are the best you could have! They are fully qualified and have a mountain of experience behind them that makes me trust them with my English teaching life wholeheartedly! And they are always there for support after you leave, they care so much about their students and you could feel that while on the course. The team as a whole are amazing and are always very willing to give a hand! So get cracking there, the world of Tefl worldwide awaits you!!
