TEFL Worldwide Prague offers a 4-week internationally recognised and accredited TEFL course in the enchanting city of Prague.

Our 130-hour TEFL course provides an excellent insight into TEFL approaches and methods, as well as 6 to 8 hours of hands-on teaching practice in real classrooms. The teaching practice during the TEFL course will give you a solid foundation when beginning your first job teaching English abroad.

We will support you before, during and after the course and help you find a teaching job after graduating. You can stay and teach in Prague or teach all over the world. Graduates usually find work 1-2 weeks after the course. We are part of a large language school in Prague, so many graduates come and work for us straight after the course.

I did the August 2015 course at TEFL Worldwide and I wasn’t disappointed. Even though the course is extremely intense and nothing prepares you for it, it’s really rewarding. It’s a highly respected institute too, and I have found no difficulty finding a job (I managed to bag myself one whilst I was still on the course!) The instructors are very competent and always happy to help and the feedback is always constructive. They’re always happy to help if you’re drawing a blank with what to do with certain parts of the lesson but they do encourage independence with lesson planning so you’ll know how to do it in the real teaching world. I’m currently teaching children and adults and the TEFL course has prepared me really well.

Be prepared for a tough course, but be ready to learn a ton. The only thing I would have done differently is study grammar structures before I came to make life here easier! Honestly, it can’t possibly get better than TEFL Worldwide Prague. They are upfront about it being a tough course, but you gain invaluable experience with actual hands on teaching practice. Their staff is very supportive and are always willing to help you when they can. Their office staff is also supportive when it comes to your new life in Prague! From giving directions to English speaking doctors, to helping you buy a metro pass, to helping you build a TEFL cover letter and CV, I really can’t see how anyone else could do it better. Thanks TEFL Worldwide!

I have nothing but praise for TEFL Worldwide. The course was thorough and intensive which only goes to show how comprehensive it is.

The teachers are highly qualified with decades of experience and I was amazed at their availablity at all times, and their patience! I would call it above and beyond the call of duty. In fact I am still in touch with them for advice regarding interviews, jobs and other advice.

The administrative staff were equally helpful with comprehensive advice ahd details, especially in areas such as getting accomodation after the course, a job or giving us contact details for alumni in other countries as many of my classmates were leaving Prague to work elsewhere.

I would have no hesitation in recommending TEFL Worldwide. I have already done so to a few friends who are thinking of getting a TEFL qualification.

I have completed this course with TEFL Worldwide Prague in November 2014 and it has been one of the best decisions I ever made. I am currently occupying a teaching position in China and couldn’t be happier. Prague is a beautiful city with an incredible night life. The course content is perfectly balanced and the teachers are very experienced. The entire staff is friendly and always willing to help you out. Particular thanks go out to Kenny 🙂 The accommodation they provide is pretty good and walking distance from the school. I recommend it as it will help you bond with the other trainees. Great friendships are made here, along with getting excellent teacher training. TEFL Worldwide Prague has an amazing network of graduates, always willing to help out a fellow graduate. I highly recommend!

I completed TEFL Worldwide Prague in May 2015. I couldn’t have asked for better instruction. I feel the instructors totally prepared me for any situation that could be thrown my way. The instructors were passionate, approachable, and knowledgable. All the course content was extremely practical. You get in-class teaching experience with real ESL students. If I ever had any questions that weren’t related to teaching, the staff was really helpful and would bend over backwards to get you information or to make you feel comfortable.

The course was challenging yet extremely fun. In the short time since graduating TEFL, I have had multiple interviews and received multiple job offers. I feel that the staff and instructors are very proactive even after you graduate the course. I would highly recommend this certification to everyone. It was refreshing, rewarding, and exactly what I was looking for. I now feel as if I have a passport to go and teach anywhere in the world. Thank you TEFL.

I thoroughly enjoyed my certification experience through TEFL Worldwide Prague. I took the program with employment already in place and was really pleased with the individual attention I was able to get in order to prepare for some specific situations I knew I would encounter.

The instruction is thorough and informative, I felt that we covered relevant and important topics for the teaching and came out with much more confidence than I initially had about the teaching.

The course is highly intensive which I enjoyed, I do appreciate how they space out assignments and I felt it was manageable if you organize yourself well, which is a good skill to pick up on prior to teaching as well.

I highly recommend this program and would refer any of my friends interested in teaching.

I took the TEFL course at TEFL Worldwide in August of 2012 and I couldn’t be happier with my choice of school. This was a big life change for me since I quit my job and moved across the ocean alone…but not for long. Thanks to the course, I was able to learn how to teach English, find a job, make friends and establish myself in Prague. I love living here and owe a giant thanks to TEFL Worldwide for making this dream possible. I couldn’t have done it without the proper foundation of skills, all the help with my resume writing, finding a job and settling in Prague, etc. It has been over 2 years and I still am in contact with the school. They offer lifelong job assistance and they really deliver. A special thanks to Cheryl and my instructors Kenny and Dan for teaching me what I needed to live out my life long dream of living in Europe!!

My boyfriend and I did a lot of research before deciding to invest in TEFL Worldwide, but I have to admit the returns have been tremendous. TEFL Worldwide was the first school that we communicated with the felt like it was being run by real people. And it is. Wonderful, friendly people. The instructors are fantastic and the help we received with job placement and housing was great.

Now, don’t get me wrong, but the course is tough. The instructors expect a lot of work from you, but it is all to make you a better teacher in the end. You will start teaching on day two, but don’t be scared, they will help you every step of the way. You will learn methodology, grammar, how to teach reading, speaking, listening, and writing lessons among many others useful tidbits. It is a lot of information in 120 hours time, but when you graduate and get your first teaching job you will be very proud of yourself.

As well as help with teaching, the work that the ladies in the admin office put in was also top-notch. There were always new job listings being posted. We were clued in when housing was available or were given advice where to look for apartments or how to find a realtor. For Non-EU citizens there was also help and advice for visas.

If you are thinking of traveling and teaching English and you want to take it seriously, please do not hesitate to contact TEFL Worldwide Prague. You will be happy you did.

I took the course in August 2014 and I’ve been very happy with my decision since.

The course is rigorous and challenging, but appropriately so, as I feel that it prepared me well for the demands of real-life teaching. The trainers were great instructors and mentors, and the feedback that we received on a regular basis from them and other observers was instrumental for our growth. Likely the biggest perk of the course is the teaching experience that you get, as by the third day of the course, you are already teaching real-life students.

In terms of job placement, I think that the resources and information provided were enough for almost everyone in our 30-person course to find jobs not too long after the end of the course. I interviewed for three jobs and was offered all three before the end of the four-week course. The course prepared me well for the interviews.

As a (fairly) recent college graduate, TEFL Worldwide helped me to start a career. Prague is a fantastic (perhaps even ideal) place to start a TEFL career. Overall, I would say that it was definitely worth it.

TEFL worldwide Prague is definitely one of the best things I’ve ever done. It’s a wonderful program with great instructors that provide you with extremely practical training. I’ve found myself thinking back frequently to my TEFL course as I teach. I applied to jobs in Turkey, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia and Vietnam and got job offers in every country. I’m working for EF now in Indonesia and I felt very well prepared to teach. I’ve found the techniques I learned at TEFL worldwide to be extremely applicable. Prague is an incredible city and I miss it. I always made what I’m sure will be lifelong friends on the course. Do it!!!!!!
