TEFL Worldwide Prague offers a 4-week internationally recognised and accredited TEFL course in the enchanting city of Prague.

Our 130-hour TEFL course provides an excellent insight into TEFL approaches and methods, as well as 6 to 8 hours of hands-on teaching practice in real classrooms. The teaching practice during the TEFL course will give you a solid foundation when beginning your first job teaching English abroad.

We will support you before, during and after the course and help you find a teaching job after graduating. You can stay and teach in Prague or teach all over the world. Graduates usually find work 1-2 weeks after the course. We are part of a large language school in Prague, so many graduates come and work for us straight after the course.

TEFL WorldWide Prague was a very positive experience for me. It was quite challenging as I had not been in a classroom environment for over 30 years and the work load is demanding……but in the end I would not have had it any other way. The teachers are professional, supportive, fun and very knowledgeable. The course covers a great amount of information in 4 weeks including onsite teaching in the first week.It has given me a lot of confidence and a solid foundation to teach English as a Foreign Language. I would very much recommend it to anyone who is hoping to teach and receive TEFL certification.

I do not have enough good things to say about Tefl Worldwide Prague. From day one the teaching and the course provided was of the highest quality.

Personally, I had absolutely no teaching experience prior to the course. The thought of teaching was exceptionally daunting and in all honesty I had no clue how I would teach English as a foreign language.

However, the course will put these concerns at ease with clear methodology and structure to form successful lessons. In addition, you will get the opportunity to teach actual lessons in front of enthusiastic and considerate students. This was a great environment to teach for the first time.

For people seriously considering teaching English abroad this course is a must.

I feel fortunate to have had training at TEFL worldwide. It was more than enough information and practice to give me confidence and excel as soon as I was out on my own. TEFL worldwide has truly made a life altering change for me. I gave up my full time job to come here. The TEFL course is a tough course, challenging but definitely worth every minute. I have already recommended this course to several of my friends who are looking into taking the course. I have been working since right after the course and the girls in the office were very helpful. The instructors are very good at what they do. I had an incredibly positive experience at TEFL!

TEFL Worldwide Prague offers you an amazing course with great value for money. The focus is a great mix between some theory but especially loads of actual practice: whether it is by being immersed in an English class and evaluating the structure and content afterwards or by teaching classes yourself with actual students. Job placement could have been a bit better but in all fairness the Summers in Prague are a bit slow when it comes to hiring new teachers. One word of caution: if you intend on staying in Prague- be advised that Prague is a beautiful city but the salary you get as a teacher is terrible: if you expect a decent paycheck and some level of financial security when you are ill or during holidays, it is best to move on to somewhere else after finishing the course!

As the spouse of an expat, along with having a great deal of senior work and life experience, teaching English as a Foreign Language was a great option to complement my portfolio, easily enter the workforce and have flexible hours for travel.

After much research, I chose to attend the TEFL Worldwide Prague course in August 2014. This highly intensive 30 days course was extremely informative, well structured and presented. The Trainers covered a great deal of information in a short period of time, but it always felt manageable and the pace never hurried.

From registration to beyond graduation, the office staff were always there and more than willing to help support where they could. The Trainers were very knowledgeable and always supportive and wasted no time getting us to practice regularly with real students while providing us with valuable feedback. They even provided us with Czech survival lessons which I must say comes in very handy on a daily basis!

After graduating, I felt very confident in my abilities to teach English as a Foreign language and was well supported by the school in securing teaching roles.

I speak from experience when I say at each step of the process, TEFL Worldwide Prague will ensure you are set up for success.

I just got back from prague after completing the TEFL course and I’m flying back to live and work there as soon as I can. I got a two way plane ticket because I wasn’t sure I wanted to teach or if I would like prague but having the TEFL school as a resource and the confidence the course gave me I know I want to move back and try teaching for a living. Everyone at TEFL is there to help you and they show it very well, they all encourage questions and don’t make you feel stupid when you ask them. I would recommend TEFL worldwide prague to anyone who has a passion for travel or passion for teaching or both, the class will kick your butt but it is worth it in the end. One heads up is don’t make any travel plans outside of Prague until you get there because there won’t be much time at all for outside traveling.

I graduated from the September 2014 course. I very much enjoyed this course and it was very intense. I had graduated university 4.5 years prior to taking this course and had never taught before. Though it is intimidating being thrown into teaching so early in the course, they do it in such a way that you don’t drown by any means. The instructors give constructive feedback and if you can apply it to your teaching methods you will excell by far. I wish there was time available for help on Mondays during lunch as there is on the other days. The instructors prepare you extremely well in my opinion to teach and I graduated the course feeling very comfortable entering a classroom to teach. The job placement team does their best to help you find jobs in other countries if not staying in Prague, though I had already done a lot of research prior to the course for the countries I wanted to go to. If you go in September/October, beware that the season of Fall is not considered heat season and so the heaters do not get turned on in the flats until later in the year. I highly recommend this course to anyone who wants to be TEFL Certified as it is equivilant to CELTA and has a workshop focusing on young learners since the students during the course are teenagers to adults. The certificate also allows you to work with IELTS and other such organizations. If you’re looking for an adventure and a highly recommended course, look no further than TEFL Worldwide Prague!!!! The instructors and staff are wonderful!!!!! 😀

I applied to this program in early summer 2014 and completed in early October of the same year. I was a little skeptical going in but I was completely satisfied with it in the end. The trainers are wonderful, very knowledgeable and helpful and great in review (and so friendly!). The staff is also very helpful and knowledgeable, not just about program-related issues but with relocation issues too – the assistant helped a classmate call the hospital about a prior injury.

The resources they provide (materials and copies) are indispensable and the job assistance is fantastic. They have a database of available jobs, especially in Prague and the Czech Republic, and they provide assistance writing CVs and cover letters. They also help find housing in Prague by listing good apartment sites and realtors. The housing is good as well, quality rooms in two different areas of Vysocany, close to the school. They settle you in nicely by collecting you from the airport and providing an orientation tour of the city before the course starts.

Overall I highly recommend this program – I’m confident there’s no better one out there!

It has been some time since I took my TEFL course in Prague, but there has been no loss of value since then. The course itself was a jam packed 4 weeks of intense learning and I truly believe you learn far more than just the ins and outs of teaching English. Though I teach English only a few hours a month now, I also use much of the presentation skills in my daily work. I still live in Prague and I am very pleased to hear that TEFL Worldwide is one of the most regarded course in town. The instructors are extremely knowledgeable and have a wealth of experience, while the support staff are simply fantastic! You will not regret choosing to do your certification at TEFL Worldwide Prague.
